Merry Christmas everybody! And this is the last countdown for the year as well. I hope everyone’s been having some amazing presents from Santa this year. Also, I have the Hits 1 Year-End countdown post coming after this post. So look forward to that. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought it still looks great, but unfortunately we did get rid of my #1 song of the year and of course it’ll forever be missed. But we did get some more amazing debuts this week which I’ll get to later. But other than that, I don’t have anything else to say here, so let’s get to it! As what I said, we had a lot of amazing songs this year. So now, I'm going to count down my top 10 songs of the year and explain why those songs were on there. We know it's going to be every song that made Hits 1. Some of them actually did poorly on the countdown this year, but some of them did amazing on there. We won't go through my honorable mentions, because there's actually a lot of songs that were amazing this year. So now, let's get to my top 10 songs of the year. For this post, I'll be taking about all the songs that hit #1 on the Hits 1 Weekend Countdown and the American Top 40, all of the Hit Bound dropouts, the shortest and longest tenured songs of the year, and the biggest whiff of the year. What a year 2021 has been with music. Although 2021 has been an okay year, but definitely not the best. But it's way better than 2020. Though the year started off horrible with everything still being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and then got reopened back in February, and the rest of the year was decent. Though we do have a lot of amazing this week, but there's also some garbage music this year from some artists that I really hate. So, for this post, I'm going to count down my Bottom 10 Songs Of 2021. We know it's not going to be every song that were on Hits 1, but most of them are rap music, which was not my genre.
