Hey guys. We are now in the home stretch of the year. I'll start doing my Year-End posts in a couple of more weeks here. But now, we send you right to the countdown. #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Ed Sheeran - Galway Girl (4th and final week at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm not too thrilled about Post Malone/Swae Lee - Sunflower having the biggest jump of the week this week. But I'm glad Dan + Shay - Tequila (+14) has tied for the biggest jump this week as it re-entered the Top 20.
The big drop from Calvin Harris/Sam Smith - Promises (-19) is not what I expected. I would like to see it move back up here.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Lauv/Julia Michaels - There's No Way: The best countdown debut of the week. This song is just heaven. The vocals in this one are heaven, and Julia's vocals are so heaven in the second verse. The chorus in this one was also heaven. Everything on this one was heaven. This song was definitely better than I Like Me Better. This needs to do heaven on the countdown.
Little Mix/Nicki Minaj - Woman Like Me: After both Shout Out To My Ex and Touch made it on to Hit Bound but failed to graduate on the weekend countdown last year, they are now back on to the countdown this week. I love Jesy Nelson's vocals in this one, and I really love Nicki's verse. Let's see if that'll do great on this countdown.
David Guetta/Anne-Marie - Don't Leave Me Alone: This song is definitely David's best song ever. The production is amazing, Anne-Marie's vocals are amazing, the chorus was amazing, and the drop is what I fell in love with. Let's see if this should do amazing on the countdown.
Ariana Grande - Thank U, Next: I really don't know what she's doing in this song, but this song is just garbage. The production is bland and generic, her vocals are underwhelming, and the chorus is so awkward and very unnecessary. I'd rather want Breathin' to become a hit, but not this one, because this song is definitely her worst song ever.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Halsey - Without Me: Oh great. It's dropping. I really hope this song doesn't become her second #1 song.
4. Marshmello/Bastille - Happier: It's still at the spot. But I somehow still want this song to get back in the Top 3 soon.
3. Anne-Marie - 2002: It debuted the Top 5 this week to the Top 3. I was so pleased about that. Now, back to my opinion. The production, her vocals, and the lyrics are all amazing, and I really enjoyed the chorus. Because it has many references to some of the most popular songs in the time period, which are lyrics from Oops! I Did It Again, Bye Bye Bye, Ride Wit Me, and ...Baby One More Time. I enjoyed those songs before. Let's see if this should be her first ever #1 song on here.
2. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Youngblood: It dropped out of the top spot this week. Though it did had a really good time at the top spot last week.
1. Panic! At The Disco - High Hopes: I was very pleased about this song back at the top spot. Now, I really want this song to stay at that spot and tie Hello, Shut Up And Dance, and Shake It Off's record for most weeks at #1. This needs to happen.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Ellie Goulding/Diplo - Close To Me
2. Dean Lewis - Be Alright (DEBUT)
3. Zara Larsson - Ruin My Life
4. Imagine Dragons - Machine
5. Lauren Jauregui - Expectations
6. Dan + Shay - Speechless (DEBUT)
7. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Killer Queen
8. Olly Murs - Moves
9. Alessia Cara - Trust My Lonely (DEBUT)
10. Khalid - Better (DEBUT)
11. James Arthur - Empty Space
12. Ava Max - Sweet But Psycho
13. Steve Aoki/BTS - Waste It On Me
14. Twenty One Pilots - Chlorine
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Dean Lewis - Be Alright: I pretty much already explained why this song was great when it debuted the American Top 40 last week. Every song that debuted the American Top 40 last week debuted Hit Bound this week by the way. Anyway. Now, this is such a fantastic song. Dean's vocals in this one are heaven, the lyrics are fantastic, and the chorus was just fantastic. I really want it to debut the countdown.
Dan + Shay - Speechless: Not as good as Tequila, but it is still awesome. I really love the production in this one, the vocals shine, and the chorus was just amazing. This could make the countdown when Tequila makes the Top 10 soon.
Alessia Cara - Trust My Lonely: As what I said, this song is so amazing. This is a step up from Growing Pains. Alessia's vocals in this one are amazing, the production is amazing, and I really love the chorus. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Khalid - Better: What an awesome song. Though this song isn't as good as Love Lies, but it is still awesome. Khalid's vocals in this one are awesome, the production is awesome, the chorus was awesome, everything on this song was awesome. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

DeleteNever mind, but asking how old someone is isn’t rude either. You just think it because you say you’re 24 years old when you’re really 24 months old.
DeleteATR, please delete Waffle's comment for me? Thanks!!!
DeleteDeleted it.
DeleteI am 15 years old but I'm going to turn 16 soon.
DeleteNice post, ATR. So I recently love This Feeling. It is such an amazing song. It really gets me moving a lot.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chase!
DeleteATR, please delete Chase’s comments. He’s just a child trying to blend in with the rest of us.
ReplyDeleteNo please don't!!!
DeleteWaffle, since you just said "ATR, please delete Chase’s comments. He’s just a child trying to blend in with the rest of us," I am about to change my profile pic right now!!! Here it is. I hope you like this one.
DeleteLmao you really think that matters to any of us?
DeleteI'm not going to delete Chase's comments. I think he's a nice guy.
DeleteAnd Chase, calm down.
DeleteSo ATR, do you know that I have autism.
ReplyDeleteWe can all tell.
DeleteYou do, Chase?
DeleteChase, I think you’re cool! :)
DeleteI think it would be sweet if High Hopes could beat all of those other records too! Such a fun song. Great post, ATR!
