Shawn Mendes (7) Week Of August 24, 2019
As what I heard today, the MTV Video Music Awards is going to be held on Monday. I'm really looking forward to watch it. I can't wait to see what performances are going to be on here this time. Anyway. Now, let's get to it! Taylor Swift guest-hosted the Weekend Countdown and Hit Bound this weekend to celebrate the release of her new album. I thought she did a great job at hosting. Before we get to this week's Fresh 45, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Fall Out Boy - The Last Of The Real Ones (1 of 2 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so pleased to see Kaskade/Meghan Trainor - With You (+17) back in the Top 30. That was the best week ever for them!
Marshmello/CHVRCHES - Here With Me has unfortunately dropped out of the Top 30. But what's also tied for the biggest drop this week is that Public - Make You Mine (-11) has fell to the bottom spot of the Top 30. I'm not too thrilled about that.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Thomas Rhett - Look What God Gave Her: I heard this song a lot on The Highway. This is such an amazing country-pop song. That production sounded remarkable, Thomas's vocals sounded amazing, those lyrics are marvelous, and I enjoyed the chorus. It spent several weeks at #1 on The Highway Hot 30, which was awesome. Let's see if this should do great on here.
Zara Larsson - All The Time: That was absolutely an amazing song. Although it isn't as good as Ruin My Life, but it's still amazing. The production in this one sounded unstoppable, Zara's vocals are absolutely amazing, and that chorus is what I really enjoyed. Let's see if this should do well on here.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - Senorita: It debuted the Top 5 this week. I'm so pleased to see that. It's such an amazing song. Now, back to my opinion. The production in this one sounded amazing, Shawn's vocals sounded amazing, Camila's vocals sounded heaven in her contribution, and that chorus is what I enjoyed. I'm pretty sure it's going to be at the top spot soon. Let's see if I'm right.
4. Taylor Swift - You Need To Calm Down: It re-entered the Top 5 this week. I'm glad to see that. Now, let's see if it'll have another chance to be at the top spot soon.
3. The Chainsmokers/5 Seconds Of Summer - Who Do You Love: Alright! It's back in the Top 3. But I don't think it'll be back at the top spot, but let's see what happens.
2. Jonas Brothers - Sucker: I don't have much to say about this one, but I'm glad it's still at that spot. Let's see how long it can still be on here.
1. Shawn Mendes - If I Can't Have You: Holding the top spot for the 4th week in a row. I'm so pleased about this song still there. Let's see how long it can stay in there even more.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Ellie Goulding/Juice WRLD - Hate Me

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
5 Seconds Of Summer - Teeth: I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but this song is not good. I don't think the vocals sound good here and the production does not sound good, either. The chorus in this one is so boring. I really hope this one doesn't make the countdown, because it's just a boring song. It's not awful, I do not hate it, I just don't like this song. Let's move on.
Charlie Puth - I Warned Myself: This was such an amazing song. Now, on to my opinion. The production in this one sounded amazing, Charlie's vocals are amazing, the lyrics are amazing, the chorus was amazing, everything on this song was amazing. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
