All Time Low (1) Week Of December 26, 2020

So this is officially the last weekend countdown of 2020. Thank goodness the year is almost over! Also, I hope everyone had a great Christmas and been staying safe. And yes, I do have the Hits 1 Year-End countdown post coming up soon. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, it actually looks so heavenly, because we are now back in the Golden Ages of the countdown. Why? Because we have another brand new #1 song this week that was in my Top 10 Songs of the year. That's definitely the best way to end the year. Anyway. Other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Niall Horan - Nice To Meet Ya (4 of 8 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm super pleased to see The Weeknd - Save Your Tears (+14) in the Top 20. Now, I'm sure hoping that this should be in the Top 10 very soon.

I actually didn't expect Justin Bieber/Benny Blanco - Lonely (-7) to have the biggest drop this week. But I wasn't that thrilled to see that. But hopefully it'll move back up soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Drake/Lil Durk - Laugh Now Cry Later: It re-entered the countdown this week because of how well it's doing on the pop radio charts. Though I'm okay with this song being back on there. Let's see how far this one goes in it's second run.

Taylor Swift - Willow: This is the only debut we have this week. And this was actually the lead single of her new album. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song and definitely a step up from Cardigan. Now, for my opinion, the production here sounded super amazing, Taylor's vocals are so phenomenal, those lyrics were super amazing, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Hopefully this should become a hit on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Ariana Grande - Positions: I'm super pleased to see it back in the Top 5 this week. Now hopefully this should go to the Top 3 very soon.

4. Harry Styles - Golden: It dropped out of the top spot. Though it did had a nice stay on there for a couple weeks. This might come back to the top spot, but we're gonna have to see.

3. Billie Eilish - Therefore I Am: I'm fine with this song in the Top 3. Although I'm pretty sure this won't be at the top spot. But let's see if it'll be in there or not.

2. Dua Lipa/DaBaby - Levitating: Gosh, this song has really been holding that spot for a long while. Though I'm sure this is not going to be at the top spot. But we don't know yet for sure.

1. All Time Low/Demi Lovato/Blackbear - Monsters: Wow, I actually didn't expect this song to be at the top spot, but thank goodness it's finally in there! I'm super duper pleased to see this song at the top spot. And this was actually my #1 song of the year, so that was definitely history to see. I'm sure hoping that this song should stay in there for a few more weeks longer. But let's see how long it could hold the spot.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Foushee - Deep End

2. Quinn XCII/Chelsea Cutler - Stay Next To Me

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Ed Sheeran - Afterglow: This is absolutely an amazing song. Though it's not as good as South Of The Border, but it's still amazing. The production here is so outstanding, Ed's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics here are so interesting, and I really enjoyed the chorus. Now, I'm sure this song will make it's debut on the countdown within the next week or so. But let's see if it'll be in there very soon.
