#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Shawn Mendes - Treat You Better

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do and Cheat Codes/Demi Lovato - No Promises (+13) had both jumped back in the Top 20. I was very pleased to see that. Let's see if they could be in the Top 10 again.
Niall Horan - Slow Hands (-19) has dropped all the way out of the Top 20 from the Top 10. I'm okay with that. It's starting to grow out of me now.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Bebe Rexha/Florida Georgia Line - Meant To Be: I heard that song a lot on The Highway. I like Florida Georgia Line's part in this song. They sang the first verse and the last verse. Then, after the first chorus, Bebe Rexha takes over the second verse, but not the whole verse because as she's singing in the second verse, Florida Georgia Line told her to hold up. Her vocals are outstanding. I love when they sang together in the second and last chorus. I feel like this song is going to do poorly on this countdown, but let's see how far it gets.

Zayn/Sia - Dusk Till Dawn: The best countdown debut this week. It was on Hit Bound for a long time. Zayn's vocals shine, the production in this song was absolutely outstanding, The lyrics are awesome, I love when he and Sia sing together in the pre-chorus, and the beat in the chorus was amazing. I hope it does well on this countdown.

Lauv - I Like Me Better: The vocals in this song are so great, The chorus sounded awesome, the lyrics are so outstanding and I love the production. I think it's going to do well on this countdown, but no one else thinks it's going to do well because they think that this song might do poorly on this countdown because no one has ever heard of this group, but let's see how long it can be on here.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Halsey - Bad At Love: It debuted the Top 5 this week. My opinion on this song is that Halsey's voice shines, I love the chorus, and I love the production. I hope this song hits #1 on this countdown soon.
4. Imagine Dragons - Thunder: I still want this song to go back to the top. I hope it does anytime soon.
3. P!nk - What About Us: I thought it's having a chance at #1 this week. So let's hope it does next week.
2. Ed Sheeran - Galway Girl: It dropped out of the top spot. I still want this song to stay in the Top 5 for a long time and get back to the top soon. Let's see if it does.
1. Demi Lovato - Sorry Not Sorry: CURSE YOU VOTERS FOR PUTTING THIS SONG AT THE TOP!!! I wasn't very pleased to see it. Let's see if it'll get out of here soon.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Post Malone/21 Savage - Rockstar
2. Harry Styles - Kiwi
3. Sofi Tukker/NERVO/The Knocks/Alisa Ueno - Best Friend (DEBUT)
4. Nick Jonas - Find You

10. Selena Gomez/Marshmello - Wolves
11. The Shadowboxers - Hot Damn
12. Macklemore/Kesha - Good Old Days
13. Liam Payne - Bedroom Floor
14. X Ambassadors - Ahead Of Myself

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Sofi Tukker/NERVO/The Knocks/Alisa Ueno - Best Friend: I heard that song a lot on Alt Nation. Sofi Tukker's vocals shine and I love the chorus. This song was #4 this week on the Alt-8 countdown. I feel like that song is going to be on Hit Bound for a long time. But we'll see how long it can stay on here.

Walk The Moon - One Foot: This is another song that I heard a lot on Alt Nation. This song is one step up from Shut Up And Dance. Let's see if it'll make the countdown anytime soon.

P!nk/Eminem - Revenge: Of course, after What About Us hit the Top 5 on the countdown, this song now debuts Hit Bound. This time, she collaborates with Eminem, one of the best rappers of all time. P!nk's vocals shine and I enjoyed Eminem's last verse. Hopefully it'll make the countdown soon.

  1. Another thing to curse? Alt Nation turned Alt-18 to Alt-8.

  2. Kinda figured Best Friend would be on Hits 1 soon, especially since it is on the iPhone commercial.

    1. That’s interesting that they now have the Alt-8 countdown.

    2. The one thing that's weird about this though is that Hits 1 never picked up on Down last winter/spring while they did pick up on this one.
