Hailee Steinfeld (1) Week Of March 17, 2018

I'd like to say Happy St. Patrick's Day to my fellow bloggers. For this countdown, it is very awesome. We lost an extremely bad song that's on the rap/hip hop genre, but we do lost some short-tenured countdown songs this week. We also have a brand new #1 song this week, which is nice to see. #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You (6 of 9 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

Fall Out Boy - Hold Me Tight Or Don't (+15) has made it to the Top 10. Let's hope it goes for the Top 5 soon.
Thankfully, Imagine Dragons - Thunder (-20) has finally had a big drop out of the Top 20. Let's see if it'll be out of here soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Kesha/The Dap-Kings Horns - Woman: It's a cool song. I can say that this isn't as good as Praying, but it's still cool. This song definitely reminds me of Kesha's older music. I love her vocals and I enjoyed The Dap-Kings Horns' part in the last verse. Let's see how this one does on the countdown.

Khalid - Young, Dumb, & Broke: If you guys see my Bottom 10 Songs of 2017 post, this song was one of my dishonorable mentions of the year. This song could be one of my dishonorable mentions of this year, too. I usually stand up for him because he has some great songs in the past (except for this and Location). But this song is garbage. I really don't like the production, Khalid has okay vocals, but I'm not a fan of the lyrics. This needs to do poorly on this countdown.

Marshmello/Anne-Marie - Friends: This song is amazing and the best countdown debut this week. Anne-Marie's vocals shine throughout the whole song and the chorus is what I fell in love with. This seriously needs to do amazing on this countdown.

Niall Horan - On The Loose: This song was pretty much upbeat like Slow Hands is. But it's better than Slow Hands. Niall has some very nice vocals, and the chorus is amazing. Let's hope this song does great on this countdown.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Macklemore/Kesha - Good Old Days: It might be on it's way out of the Top 5. I'd still want this song to stay there for a little while longer and get back to the top spot. We'll see how this one can do.
4. Ed Sheeran - Perfect: It's holding at that spot. Can we please let this song stay there for a long time? I'm pretty sure it should stay there for a long time. Because this is Ed's best song ever. But we're going to see how long it takes for this song to stay in here.
3. Zedd/Maren Morris/Grey - The Middle: I was very pleased to see it drop out of the top spot. Now, this song needs to keep dropping and be out of here. Let's hope it does.
2. Walk The Moon - One Foot: It debuted the Top 5 this week. Now, on to my opinion. This song is just a step up from Shut Up And Dance. The vocals in this one are so awesome and oh my gosh that drop in the chorus was very amazing. Will this song be there 2nd #1 song on this countdown? We'll have to wait and see.
1. Hailee Steinfeld/Alesso/Florida Georgia Line/Watt - Let Me Go: I was very happy to see this song at the top. Since this song was Starving 2.0 and since Starving has hit #1 before, this song is now #1 this week. Let's see how long it can hold the spot.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Foster The People - Sit Next To Me
2. Dua Lipa - I Don't Give A Fudge
3. Rudimental/Jess Glynne/Macklemore/Dan Caplen - These Days
4. Drake - God's Plan (DEBUT)
5. 30 Seconds To Mars - Walk On Water
6. Taylor Swift - Delicate (DEBUT)
7. Halsey - Alone (DEBUT)
8. Portugal. The Man - Live In The Moment
9. Bazzi - Mine
10. Post Malone/Ty Dolla $ign - Psycho
11. Alice Merton - No Roots
12. Demi Lovato - Tell Me You Love Me
13. Charlie Puth/Kehlani - Done For Me (DEBUT)
14. Dustin Atlas/Erin Bowman - Fake A** Friends

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Drake - God's Plan: At first, I did not want this song to be on Hits 1 because I feel like Hits 1 is not a fan of Drake. But this song is catchy. This is our current #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100. Now, on to the song, I love the production, Drake's vocals are awesome, and I enjoyed the chorus. This needs to debut the countdown soon.

Taylor Swift - Delicate: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. It's not as good as End Game or Look What You Made Me Do, but it's still great. The production here is so amazing, Taylor's vocals are extremely amazing, and the lyrics are amazing. Here's to hoping that it should make it's debut on the countdown soon.

Halsey - Alone: It's such an amazing song. It's just a step up from Bad At Love. Her voice is so outstanding, I love the verses, and the chorus was so amazing. It should debut the countdown when Bad At Love is out of the Top 30. But let's see if it should make the countdown soon.

Charlie Puth/Kehlani - Done For Me: This song sounds a lot like How Long. Charlie's vocals are so awesome and I love Kehlani's part in this song, too. The chorus grabs my attention (see what I did there?). This better debut the countdown next week.

  1. First! The thing is that I'm actually happy that The Middle left the #1 spot being replaced by Let Me Go.

  3. Uh oh, here we go again, The Middle is back at #1 for a third time replacing Let Me Go. This is unacceptable. The Middle needs to leave the #1 spot this week and replace it with One Foot.
