#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

The Chainsmokers - Paris (1st and final week at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

The big jump into the Top 20 from Demi Lovato - Tell Me You Love Me (+14) is unexpected. Since this song was #11, it's definitely going to the Top 10 soon. Let's hope it does.
I did not expect the big drop out of the Top 20 from Justin Timberlake/Chris Stapleton - Say Something (-23). This better make it's comeback soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Post Malone/Ty Dolla $ign - Psycho: WHAT???!!! ANOTHER POST MALONE SONG ON THE COUNTDOWN???!!! I really am getting tired of listening to Post Malone's music. I guess you can call me a Post Malone hater. Now, on to the song. The production is bland and generic, Post Malone's vocals are awful, I do not like Ty Dolla $ign's part, and the lyrics are dumb. This needs to do poorly on this countdown.

Halsey - Alone: It's such an amazing song. Hits 1 did edit out Big Sean and Stefflon Don's verse, which is great. Now, this song was just a step up from Bad At Love. Her voice is so outstanding, I love the verses, and that chorus was so amazing. It better do amazing on this countdown.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Camila Cabello - Never Be The Same: Wait a minute...... It shouldn't be holding that spot. This needs to jump and be at #1 soon.
4. Imagine Dragons - Whatever It Takes: It re-entered the Top 5 this week. Hopefully this song gets another shot at #1 soon.
3. Zedd/Maren Morris/Grey - The Middle: Whew. It finally dropped out of the top spot. Now this needs to be out of here and never come back to the top.
2. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Want You Back: It even re-entered the Top 5 this week. But will this song be their second #1 song? I'm pretty sure it's going to. But we're going to wait and see.
1. Bebe Rexha/Florida Georgia Line - Meant To Be: I was so pleased about this song at the top. This is Bebe's first #1 song here on this countdown. It even did better than The Highway Hot 30, peaking at #3. Let's see how long it can hold the spot.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Dustin Atlas/Erin Bowman - Fake Friends
2. Sugarland/Taylor Swift - Babe
3. Kendrick Lamar/SZA - All The Stars

  1. First! (and Dylan, don't say second!!!)

First of all, Never Be the Same is officially #1 at pop radio, I'm not that happy about it. Although Want You Back is flopping pop radio stations. Why is your new post different, ATR?

    1. Yeah. They have had a #1 song before on this countdown back in 2014. She Looks So Perfect was their only song that hit #1 on this countdown. Hopefully this should be their second #1 song.

    2. Ummm... Want You Back will never hit #1. I hate that song, and Meant to Be will still be #1 for a 2nd week in a row.
