#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Panic! At The Disco - High Hopes (1 of 8 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

Alec Benjamin - If We Have Each Other (+18) had the biggest jump this week as it made the Top 3. I'm actually okay with that, because it's just mediocre.
Kaskade/Meghan Trainor - With You unfortunately dropped all the way to the Bottom 5. But what's also tied for the biggest drop of the week is Ava Max - So Am I (-16), as it dropped all the way out of the Top 20 from the Top 10. Not cool, Hits 1. Not cool at all! It's such a pretty heaven song and I really hope this should be back in there.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Asher Angel - One Thought Away: Hits 1 edited out Wiz Khalifa's verse in this one, which I'm not okay with. He's such a talented rapper. Now, as far as the song goes, it's mediocre. I'm not huge on his voice, because it sounded a little too childish. But I love the instrumentation and I think the lyrics are solid. Let's see how this one does here.

Miley Cyrus - Mother's Daughter: This is such an outstanding song. But it wasn't as good as Malibu, but it's still an outstanding song. Miley sounded outstanding here, the production in this one sounded awesome, and the chorus sounded remarkable. Let's see if it'll do outstanding on here.

SHAED - Trampoline: The best countdown debut this week. I heard this song a lot on Alt Nation. The song was used in a commercial back in the fall last year. I gave it a listen for the first time and I thought to myself, "this is heaven!" It's such an extremely heaven song. The instrumentation in this one sounded extremely heaven, Chelsea's vocals shine pretty much throughout the whole song, the lyrics are extremely heaven, and wow. That chorus sounded extremely heaven. This is definitely going to be my #1 song of 2019. Here's to hoping it should do heaven on this countdown.

Mark Ronson/Camila Cabello - Find U Again: This is definitely Mark's best song of all time. I know it's because Camila was my favorite Fifth Harmony member. Her voice is so heaven. Now as far as the song goes, it's heaven. The production in this one sounded amazing, Camila's vocals sounded heaven, the lyrics are fantastic, the chorus sounded heaven, and the drop sounded heaven. I really hope this one does heaven on here.

Stephen Puth - Look Away: This is such an outstanding song. This is definitely a step up from Sexual Vibe. The production in this one sounded marvelous, Stephen's vocals are absolutely amazing, I'm a fan of those lyrics, and I fell in love with that chorus. Let's see if it'll do better than Sexual Vibe does.

OneRepublic - Rescue Me: They have made their return on the countdown this week. Now, this song was amazing. It's a little bit of a step up from Connection, which never charted. The instrumentation in this one sounded amazing, Ryan's vocals sounded amazing, the lyrics are amazing, the chorus was amazing, everything on this song was amazing. Let's see if it'll do amazing on here.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Easier: It debuted the Top 5 this week. I am so pleased to see that. It's now a step up from Youngblood. It has grown on me more. Now, back to my opinion. The production in this one sounded heaven, the vocals sounded amazing, the lyrics are fantastic, and that chorus sounded heaven. Now, I really hope this should be at #1 soon.
4. Halsey - Nightmare: Oh no! I don't want it to be out of the Top 3! I really would like it to be back in there. But let's see what happens.
3. Alec Benjamin - If We Have Each Other: By that biggest jump this week, this song makes it's debut in the Top 5 all the way to the Top 3. I'm actually okay with that. Now, back to my opinion. It's just a mediocre song. It's a little bit of a step up from Let Me Down Slowly, but it is still mediocre. I still don't like his voice, but the production sounded good. If this hits #1 soon, I'll still be okay with that.
2. The Chainsmokers/5 Seconds Of Summer - Who Do You Love: Good. It's back at that spot. Now, let's see if it'll be back at the top soon.
1. Shawn Mendes - If I Can't Have You: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm so pleased that it's still there. Now, let's see how long it can stay in there even more.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Jax Jones/Bebe Rexha - Harder
2. Panic! At The Disco - Roaring 20's (DEBUT)
3. Zara Larsson - All The Time
4. Ellie Goulding/Juice WRLD - Hate Me
5. Twenty One Pilots - The Hype (DEBUT)
6. Taylor Swift - The Archer
7. Alec Benjamin - Jesus In LA (DEBUT)
8. Sam Smith - How Do You Sleep?
9. Katy Perry - Small Talk (DEBUT)
10. Ariana Grande/Social House - Boyfriend (DEBUT)
11. Thomas Rhett - Look What God Gave Her
12. Ed Sheeran/Khalid - Beautiful People
13. Dominic Fike - 3 Nights
14. Jonas Brothers - Only Human
15. Lizzo - Good As Hell (DEBUT)

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Panic! At The Disco - Roaring 20's: This is definitely an amazing song. This is definitely a step up from Dancing's Not A Crime. The instrumentation in this one sounded amazing, Brendon's vocals shine throughout the entire song, I'm a fan of the lyrics, and that chorus sounded amazing. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Twenty One Pilots - The Hype: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. I heard this song before on Alt Nation and it is such an amazing song. Now, this is definitely a step up from Chlorine. The production here is amazing, Tyler's vocals sounded fantastic, the lyrics are amazing, and the chorus sounded heaven. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Alec Benjamin - Jesus In LA: Since If We Have Each Other made the Top 3 this week, this song now debuts Hit Bound. And of course, this song is also mediocre. The guitar in this one sounded decent, but I still don't like his vocals. But overall, it's just mediocre. I'd be fine if this makes the countdown soon.

Katy Perry - Small Talk: What's interesting about this song is that it's actually written by Charlie Puth, which I found interesting. As far as the song goes, it's just decent. Although the songwriting was great, but it's still decent. The production sounds kinda underwhelming for the most part, but Katy sounded great here. I'd be fine if it makes the countdown soon.

Ariana Grande/Social House - Boyfriend: I really don't know what's going on with this song, but this song is gross. Though it's not as bad as Thank U, Next, but it's still gross. The production and the beat sounded horrible, Ariana's vocals sounded really terrible, the lyrics are gross, and that chorus sounded underwhelming. Though the members of Social House hardly make any sort of contribution here. But overall, the song was gross. It better not be on the countdown at all. NEXT!

Lizzo - Good As Hell: This song has actually been out since 2016. That was 3 years late that it made Hits 1. Now, as far as the song goes, it's such an amazing song. This is way better than Juice and Truth Hurts. The beat is absolutely amazing, Lizzo's voice sounded so much better than her other songs here, and that chorus sounded remarkable. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
