#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Harry Styles - Watermelon Sugar (3 of 8 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
Silk Sonic - Skate and Lil Nas X/Jack Harlow - Industry Baby (+9) were tied for the biggest jump this week. I'm actually so pleased about the first one managing to do it, but I'm fine with the other one doing the same thing. But still what a week for them!
Nelly/Florida Georgia Line - Lil Bit (-15) took a huge big drop this week as it dropped all the way out of the Top 30 from the Top 20. And I'm sure this is going to be out of here very soon.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Tones And I - Cloudy Day: This is just a decent song. There isn't really anything here that's interesting to say about this song. Although the production here was so outstanding, but I'm not really huge on her vocals. Although she doesn't sound as bad as she did in Dance Monkey and Bad Child, but not by much. And not only that, I also don't like the backing vocals in the chorus. But the lyrics were still very nicely-written, so I'll still give credit to that. But this is a decent song overall to listen to. Let's see how this one does on there.
Maneskin - Beggin: Wow, I didn't actually expect this song to be on there. And now this is their first appearance on there. Now, I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation and this is definitely an amazing song. For my opinion, the production and instrumentation were both super outstanding, this guy's vocals were so amazing especially in his rapping in the verses, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super amazing and very catchy. Hopefully this should do better on here than on the Alt-18.
The Weeknd - Take My Breath: The best debut this week. Since Save Your Tears is starting to be on it's way out of here, this song has now made it's debut on there. As far as the song goes, it's also an amazing song. But definitely not as good as Save Your Tears, but it's still amazing. The production was so amazing, Abel's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so marvelous, and that chorus was absolutely amazing. Hopefully this should become a hit on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. The Kid Laroi/Justin Bieber - Stay: It debuted the Top 5 this week. I'm super glad to see this song in there. Now, I'm really hoping that this should be in the Top 3 very soon.
4. Ed Sheeran - Bad Habits: I thought this song is going to be ion the Top 3 this week. But I'm pretty sure that next week it should be in there.
3. Doja Cat/SZA - Kiss Me More: I actually didn't think it was going to still be in the Top 3 this week, but it's still in there. But again I'm pretty sure this is going to be out of here next week.
2. Olivia Rodrigo - Deja Vu: I betcha this song was still standing in there because of what was happening. But maybe this might hit the top spot sometime soon, we don't know yet.
1. Olivia Rodrigo - Good 4 U: Holding the top spot for the 5th week in a row. Wow, what has this song been doing on there? It really has been doing super amazing in there. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
