Imagine Dragons (5) Week Of April 30, 2022

As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it still looks amazing, but unfortunately we did get rid of a song that was going to be in my top songs of the year, and that of course it will forever be missed. But we do have an amazing Top 5 this week, and that of course I'll get to later on in this post. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm super pleased to see Harry Styles - As It Was (+19) take a huge big jump all the way to the Top 3 this week. What a big week for him! But I'll explain more of that soon.

I'm not too thrilled to see Avril Lavigne/Blackbear - Love It When You Hate Me (-9) to take the biggest drop all the way out of the Top 10 from the Top 3. This does not deserve it! But I do have a feeling that this song is going to be out of here very soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

The Kid Laroi - Thousand Miles: This is just a decent song. Although I do know that this is actually a little bit of a step up from Without You, but it's still decent. With my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing here, but again Laroi's vocals don't actually sound that good here. But I do still love the lyrics here because I think they're still super nicely-written and I think the chorus was decent. But yeah, this is decent overall. Let's see how far this one should get on there.

Leah Kate - 10 Things I Hate About You: This is the only great debut we have this week and this is now her first countdown appearance this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as F U Anthem, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Leah's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were pretty interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Complete Mess: I'm still waiting for this song to move up and get to the Top 3. I know Hits 1 is in love with them, so this needs to do it.

4. Em Beihold - Numb Little Bug: Why is this song still standing at this spot and not moving up? Gosh, I've been waiting for this song to do it. But I'm sure this song might drop out of here sometime soon.

3. Harry Styles - As It Was: Thanks to the biggest jump this week, this song has made it's debut in the Top 5 and all the way to the Top 3 this week. And again I'm so pleased to see it do that, and I'm sure this is going to end up being in the top spot within the next week or so. Hopefully it'll happen.

2. Megan Thee Stallion/Dua Lipa - Sweetest Pie: It has also debuted the Top 5 and into the Top 3 this week. I'm so pleased to see that as well. But I'm sure that this is never going to hit the top spot in there, but let's see how long it will run in the Top 5.

1. Imagine Dragons/J.I.D. - Enemy: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. Gosh, how has this song been doing on there? It sure has been having a super amazing run on there mainly because it's them. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Ava Max - Maybe You're The Problem: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. Since The Motto is doing so well on the countdown, this song has now made it's debut on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as The Motto, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Ava's vocals were pretty heavenly, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.

Khalid - Skyline: This is absolutely the best song that I've ever heard from him. It's definitely a step up from all of his other songs. As for my opinion, the production was super amazing, Khalid's vocals were so phenomenal, I'm definitely a humongous fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so heavenly and it's definitely what I fell in love with. So yeah, this is absolutely a phenomenal song overall for me to listen to. I'm really hoping that this should be on the countdown soon.

Sam Smith - Love Me More: This is such an outstanding song. But definitely not as good as Diamonds, but it's still outstanding. As for my opinion on this song, the production was so outstanding, Sam's vocals were super outstanding and he shines very nicely throughout the entire song, the lyrics were so nice, and the chorus was so amazing and definitely what I fell in love with. But yeah, this is an outstanding song overall for me to listen to. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.

Justin Bieber/Don Toliver - Honest: Now, the last time they collaborated was Don't Go with Skrillex, and that was a song that I enjoyed back then. And what I've noticed about this new song is that it's basically Don't Go part 2, which was interesting. As far as the song goes, this is also an outstanding song. For my opinion, the production was so outstanding, Justin's vocals were super outstanding, Don's vocals were super amazing in his contribution, the lyrics were very nicely-written, and the chorus was so amazing. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
