AT40: Miley Cyrus (5) Week Of April 1, 2023

TSo we are now officially in the second quarter of the year. I feel like the first quarter has been amazing with music. Hopefully we should keep it up with lots of more awesome music in the next three quarters of this year! Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it actually looks so interesting. We do have some more interesting debuts this week, and of course I'll get to them later on in this post like what I always do. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 40, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Lil Nas X - That's What I Want (2 of 3 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased about Morgan Wallen - Last Night (+6) taking the biggest jump after doing super phenomenal on the country radio charts recently. What a big week for him!

I'm also pleased about Tyga/Jhene Aiko/Pop Smoke - Sunshine (-9) taking the biggest drop this week. This totally deserves it! And I'm sure hoping that it should be out of here soon. I've had enough of this song.

New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:

Zara Larsson - Can't Tame Her: The best debut this week. We haven't heard from her since last year when she collaborated with Alesso on Words, which became a Hit Bound dropout. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Words, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Zara's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Let's see how far this one goes on there.

Miley Cyrus - River: Since Flowers has been doing super phenomenal on there, we now have this song making it's debut on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Flowers, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Miley's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should become a hit on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Sam Smith/Kim Petras - Unholy: Gosh, this song sure has been really enjoying the Top 5 recently. But again I'm sure it's going to be out of here soon.

4. The Weeknd - Die For You: Yeah I'm sure this song is going to be leaving the Top 5 pretty soon. But maybe it'll spend a couple more weeks in there and then be out of here.

3. SZA - Kill Bill: I'm still pleased with this song still in the Top 3, but again I don't think it's ever going to be at the top spot in there. But maybe I'd like it to stay in there for a few more weeks longer at the very least.

2. Metro Boomin/The Weeknd/21 Savage - Creepin': Gosh, this song sure has been remaining at this spot for a while. But I'm sure it's going to be out of the Top 3 very soon.

1. Miley Cyrus - Flowers: Holding the top spot for the 5th week in a row. Wow, this song sure has been doing so phenomenal on there. Nothing can stop this song from being so popular. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
