AT40: Miguel (3) Week Of June 17, 2023

As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it actually looks so amazing and interesting. We do have some more fun debuts this week, however we do have a bad biggest jump and biggest drop, but we're not gonna worry about it because I'm gonna get to it later on in this post like what I always do. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 40, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Harry Styles - As It Was (4 of 6 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm not too thrilled to see Post Malone - Mourning (+14) take the biggest jump. This does not deserve it! But I'm sure it's gonna go to the Top 20 soon, so I'd better watch out.

I'm also not too thrilled about The Weeknd/Future - Double Fantasy (-14) taking the biggest drop. This also does not deserve it! But I'm sure this might be on it's way out of here so I'm sure it's gonna leave here soon.

New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:

Harry Styles - Satellite: So I've noticed that this song has being pushed as the next single right around the same time Bebe Rexha and Snoop Dogg put out their song called Satellite, but they actually picked up Harry's song instead. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's definitely a step up from Music For A Sushi Restaurant. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Harry's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully this should end up becoming a hit on there.

Dua Lipa - Dance The Night: The best debut this week. And this was actually one of the songs that was taken from the soundtrack of the new upcoming Barbie movie, which was so amazing. I'm really looking forward to seeing that movie when it comes out in theaters. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal and fun song. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Dua's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly and super fun. And of course with it's debut in the Top 20, I'm sure this is going to end up becoming a huge hit on there. Let's see how far this goes.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. SZA - Kill Bill: Yeah this song must've been really loving the Top 5 on there. But again it's going to be on it's way out of here very soon.

4. Metro Boomin/The Weeknd/21 Savage - Creepin': Gosh, this song sure has been around in there for a while. But I'm sure this is definitely going to be out of here next week.

3. Rema/Selena Gomez - Calm Down: I'm pleased that it's still in the Top 3, but I'm sure this is going to be out of here within the next week or so.

2. Miley Cyrus - Flowers: Yeah I'm sure this song is going to remain at this spot because of how well it did on there. Let's see how long it'll remain in there.

1. Miguel - Sure Thing: Holding the top spot for the 3rd week in a row. Gosh, how has this song been doing on there even though it's old? I'm so pleased that it's still in there, this deserves it! Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
