#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Post Malone/Doja Cat - I Like You (A Happier Song) (1 of 4 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm pleased to see Paul Russell - Lil Boo Thang (+9) take the biggest jump this week. It deserves to gain some airplay! Now, let's see if it'll go to the Top 20 soon.
Fifty Fifty - Cupid (-14) took the biggest drop for the second week in a row. But I'm sure that it'l;l definitely be out of here within the next week or so.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Diplo/Jessie Murph/Polo G - Heartbroken: The best debut this week. This actually sounds like a country song production-wise even though it's from an EDM artist. But as far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Jessie's vocals were pretty phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, the chorus was so heavenly, and Polo G's rapping in his verse was super phenomenal. Let's see how far this goes on there.
Nicki Minaj - Last Time I Saw You: Since Barbie World hit the Top 3 on there, we now have this song making it's debut this week. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Barbie World, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Nicki's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should become a hit on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Olivia Rodrigo - Vampire: I have a feeling that this song is going to be out of the Top 5 within the next week or so. But it still had an amazing time in there.
4. SZA - Snooze: It's moving back up which I'm happy to see. Now, let;s see if this should be in the Top 3 very soon.
3. Nicki Minaj/Ice Spice/Aqua - Barbie World: I'm so pleased to see this song in the Top 3. But I'm sure it's definitely not going to hit the top spot on there. But I'd like it to stay in the Top 3 for a few more weeks longer at the very least.
2. Dua Lipa - Dance The Night: It dropped out of the top spot. But it still had a nice time in there last week. Though I'm sure this might somehow leave the Top 3 sometime soon.
1. Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer: Wow, I actually didn't expect it to come back to the top spot, but I'm super duper pleased that it did it. Gosh, this song sure has been doing super phenomenal recently. Now, let's see how long it'll hold the spot on it's third time in there.
