#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero (1 of 10 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm super pleased to see Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now (+11) take the biggest jump. This really deserves it! Now, let's see if it'll be in the Top 5 next week.

Selena Gomez - Single Soon (-3) took a short biggest drop this week which wasn't actually that bad, but I still wasn't happy about it. But I'm sure it might leave here sometime soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Jessie Murph/Jelly Roll - Wild Ones: The best countdown debut this week. This is absolutely a pretty heavenly song and it's actually the best song that I've ever heard from her. It's definitely a huge step up from Heartbroken and all of her other songs and even better than Flo Rida and Sia's song from 2012 of the same title. With my opinion on this song, the production was pretty heavenly, Jessie's vocals were pretty heavenly, Jelly Roll's vocals were also pretty heavenly in his contribution, I'm definitely a humongous fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was pretty heavenly. Everything on this song was pretty heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 10 Songs of the year. Hopefully this should do well on there.

Jack Harlow - Lovin On Me: What I've noticed about this song is that it actually uses the same formula as First Class last year. In First Class, he sampled Fergie's 2007 hit song Glamorous in the hook. And now in this new song, he sampled Cadillac Dale's 1995 song Whatever in the hook, which was a song that I've actually never heard of before. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song and it's actually a step up from First Class. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Jack's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how far this gets on there.

Jonas Brothers/Bailey Zimmerman - Strong Enough: This is such an interesting collaboration. And of course we remember Bailey from last year when he brought us Rock And A Hard Place, and that was a Hit Bound dropout back then. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another amazing song. With my opinion on it, the production was so amazing, both Nick and Joe sound super amazing, Bailey's vocals were also super amazing in his contribution, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how far this one goes on there.

Dua Lipa - Houdini: One thing I've noticed about this song is that it was actually produced by Kevin Parker and Tame Impala, which I think is super amazing. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Dance The Night, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Dua's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should do amazing on there which I'm sure it will because of how high it debuted on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Post Malone - Enough Is Enough: Gosh, when is this song going to drop and be out of here? I really don't want to see him in there anymore.

4. Olivia Rodrigo - Get Him Back!: No, this does not deserve to leave the Top 3. But I'm sure it's going to come back in there sometime very soon.

3. Teddy Swims - Lose Control: He now has his first ever Top 5 song on there this week. I'm so pleased to see it in there, but I don't think it's ever going to hit the top spot on there. But let's see what happens next.

2. Miley Cyrus - Used To Be Young: I'm sure this song might remain at this spot for a couple more weeks longer at the very least. But let's see what happens then.

1. Tate McRae - Greedy: Holding the top spot for the 5th week in a row. Wow, this song sure has been doing super amazing on there. I have a feeling that this song is going to be the Anti-Hero of 2023 because of how well it's doing. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Lily Meola - Without You

2. Dominic Fike - Mama's Boy (DEBUT)

15. Matt Hansen - Something To Remember

16. Petit Biscuit/AJ - You Don't Ignore (Too Late) (DEBUT)

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Dominic Fike - Mama's Boy: This is absolutely an outstanding song. But definitely not as good as Mona Lisa, but it's still outstanding. With my opinion on this one, the production was so outstanding, Dominic's vocals were super outstanding, the lyrics were so nice, and the chorus was so amazing. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

Noah Kahan - Stick Season: This is another song that I've been hearing a lot on Alt Nation. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another outstanding song and it's definitely a step up from Dial Drunk. With my opinion, the production was so outstanding, Noah's vocals were super outstanding, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so amazing. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Thirty Seconds To Mars - Seasons: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. And I've also been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. And this was actually their first appearance on there since Walk On Water back in 2018, and that of course was a Hit Bound dropout in which we remembered. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song. But definitely not as good as Walk On Water, but it's still heavenly. With my opinion on this song, the production was super phenomenal, the vocals were so heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Mitski - My Love Mine All Mine: I've actually been hearing some of her other songs back then before this song came out. But I gotta say, this is just a decent song. There really isn't anything interesting about it. Though the production actually doesn't sound good here, but Mitski's vocals still sound outstanding here and the chorus was decent. But I think the lyrics were still super interesting, so I'll still give credit to that. But this is decent overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Tate McRae - Exes: We've now picked up a new single from her since Greedy hit the top spot on the countdown. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Greedy. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Tate's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Here's to hoping that it should make the countdown soon.

Petit Biscuit/AJ - You Don't Ignore (Too Late): This was actually the remix version of it. Although I have heard the original version before, but I actually like this remix better. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal and fun song. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Petit Biscuit's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus and drop both sound super phenomenal. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
