Tate McRae (6) Week Of November 25, 2023

Again I really hope everyone's been having a great Thanksgiving on Thursday. I really did had an amazing one, the food was amazing and the football games were fun to watch on that day. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it looks so interesting. We do have some more interesting debuts this week, but I'm gonna get to them later on in this post like what I always do. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero (2 of 10 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see Crash Adams - Sugar Mommy (+7) take the biggest jump to the Top 10 this week. What a week for them! It deserves it! Now, let's see if it'll be in the Top 5 soon.

I'm not too thrilled to see Selena Gomez - Single Soon (-8) take the biggest drop. This should've had a shot at the Top 5, but it didn't. But I do have a feeling that it's going to be the end of it.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Tate McRae - Exes: Since Greedy hit the top spot on there, we now have this song making it's debut on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Greedy. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Tate's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if this should also do well on there.

Knox - Not The 1975: The best countdown debut this week. And the title is actually so interesting because I know this is not The 1975, it's a Dayton based singer who has finally made his first ever countdown appearance on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Knox's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly and I really stand for it. Let's see how far this goes on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Olivia Rodrigo - Get Him Back!: Oh come on! This should not be dropping! This seriously needs to come back to the Top 3 or else I'll be mad.

4. Post Malone - Enough Is Enough: Why would this song move up? This does not deserve it! Gosh, when is it gonna leave the Top 5?

3. Miley Cyrus - Used To Be Young: I actually didn't expect this song to drop, but I'm glad that it's still in the Top 3. But I'm sure this might be out of here sometime soon.

2. Teddy Swims - Lose Control: It's almost at the top spot, but again I don't think this song is ever going to be at that spot. Maybe it might stay in the Top 3 for a couple more weeks longer at the very least.

1. Tate McRae - Greedy: Holding the top spot for the 6th week in a row. Gosh, what is going on with this song on there recently? This song might end up being her biggest hit in her career on there. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Aliyah's Interlude - It Girl: It's actually so weird that Hits 1 actually had a fake Hit Bound list this week. But at least there's songs on there that I could review. Let's start with this song. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal and fun song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal and fun, her rapping was super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly and fun. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Zach Bryan/Maggie Rogers - Dawns: After I Remember Everything dropped out of Hit Bound last month, we now have this song making it's debut on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from I Remember Everything. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Zach's vocals were super phenomenal, Maggie's vocals were so heavenly in her contribution, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.

Chris Brown - Angel Numbers / Ten Toes: This is absolutely an amazing song and this is actually a step up from Summer Too Hot. With my opinion on this song, the production was so amazing, Chris's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Although there is a super long instrumental in there, but it actually sounds amazing to me. But overall, this is such an amazing song. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

Zara Larsson - Memory Lane: This is absolutely another phenomenal and fun song. But definitely not as good as On My Love, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Zara's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly especially the drop in it. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

The Weeknd/Jennie/Lily Rose Depp - One Of The Girls: After their TV Series The Idol failed to get renewed for a second season, Hits 1 has now picked up a song from that soundtrack, which was this song. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Popular, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Abel's vocals were super phenomenal, Jennie's and Lily's vocals both sound so heavenly in their contributions, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if this should make the countdown soon.

Peggy Gou - (It Goes Like) Nanana: I actually didn't expect this song to come back on there, but I'm pleased that it has actually managed to do it. Now, let's see if this song should have another shot to be on the countdown soon.

Benson Boone - To Love Someone: This is absolutely another amazing song. But definitely not as good as In The Stars, but it's still amazing. With my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing, Benson's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal and I really fell in love with it. So yeah, this is such an amazing ballad overall for me to listen to. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
