Tate McRae (7) Week Of December 2, 2023

So we are now officially in the month of December and we are now ready to get into the holiday spirit. And this means we are one month away from the new year. Gosh, time sure does fly by so fast. Also, my birthday is coming next Monday. I'm gonna be turning 21, which was actually the biggest one yet. That means I get to start gambling at the casinos and drinking some beer and stuff. Hopefully it's a blast! Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it still looks amazing. There's some more interesting stuff happening on there this week, but I'm gonna get to them later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Unfortunately, there are no songs leaving the countdown this week. So, let's get right into the countdown.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero (3 of 10 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see Doja Cat - Agora Hills (+12) take the biggest jump to the Top 15 this week. It really has been gaining lots and lots of airplay on there over the week. What a huge week it has been for her! Now, let's see if it'll go to the Top 10 soon.

I'm not really that thrilled to see Doechii - What It Is (Block Boy) (-10) take the biggest drop, but I do know it has been in there for a while so I'm sure it'll be out of here very soon.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now: I'm so pleased to see this song in the Top 5. This totally deserves it! Now, let's see if this should go to the Top 3 very soon.

4. Post Malone - Enough Is Enough: I really have no idea why this song was still there. This really needs to be out of here!

3. Miley Cyrus - Used To Be Young: I'm pleased that it's still in the Top 3, but again I'm sure this song is going to be out of here sometime soon. But it still had an amazing time though.

2. Olivia Rodrigo - Get Him Back!: Yeah this totally deserves to come back to the Top 3! Now, I'd like to see this song in the top spot very soon.

1. Tate McRae - Greedy: Holding the top spot for the 7th week in a row. And now this song is officially halfway there from tying the record for the most weeks spent at the top spot, but I don't think it's ever going to happen. I'm sure another song might take over the top spot very soon, but let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Mitski - My Love Mine All Mine

2. PinkPantheress/Central Cee - Nice To Meet You

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

LANY - XXL: I'm so pleased to see this song come back on there. It really deserves it! Now, let's see if this song should have another shot to be on the countdown soon.

Bruce Melodie/Shaggy - When She's Around (Funga Macho): This is just a decent song. There really isn't anything interesting to say about it. Although I'm not really huge on the production and there's some strange elements on this song, but Bruce and Shaggy actually sounds amazing here and the chorus was decent. And the lyrics were still super interesting, so I'll still give credit to that. But this is decent overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Noah Kahan/Gracie Abrams - Everywhere, Everything: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. This is absolutely a phenomenal song and it's definitely a step up from Stick Season. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Noah's vocals were super phenomenal, Gracie's vocals were pretty heavenly in her contribution, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.

Beyonce - My House: So she has put out a new single yesterday and now here it is on there. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Flo Rida's hit song from 2016 of the same title, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Beyonce's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Dove Cameron - White Glove: This is just a mediocre song. There really isn't that much here that's good to say about it. Although this is better than Lethal Woman, but it's still not that good. Though Dove's vocals still don't sound good here, but the production is okay but not the best and the chorus was meh. But the lyrics were still so nicely-written, so I'll still give credit to that. But this is mediocre overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
