AT40: Tate McRae (2) Week Of January 13, 2024

As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it actually looks so interesting. However we did get rid of a song that was in my top songs of last year which will forever be missed as always. But we do have some more interesting debuts this week, but I'm gonna get to them later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero (2 of 3 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

Sabrina Carpenter - Feather (+8) took the biggest jump to the Top 20 this week. I'm so pleased to see this song do that. It really deserves to be in there! Now, let's see if it'll go to the Top 10 soon.

I'm not too thrilled to see Jung Kook/Jack Harlow - 3D (-5) take the biggest drop. This should've gone to the Top 20! Come on, please don't let this song be on it's way out of here.

New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:

Tiesto/21 Savage/BIA - Both: This is absolutely an amazing and fun EDM song. But definitely not as good as 10:35, but it's still amazing. With my opinion on it, the production was so amazing, 21 Savage's vocals were super amazing especially in his flow, BIA's vocals were so phenomenal in her contribution, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal and fun. Let's see how far this one should get on there.

LANY - XXL: I've actually heard of this duo before this song because I've actually heard some of their songs and I thought they were amazing. And now, here they are with their first ever appearance on there. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, the vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how far this goes on there.

Thirty Seconds To Mars - Seasons: The best debut this week. And it's actually been quite a while since we last heard from them on there. And of course I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song. But definitely not as good as Walk On Water, but it's still heavenly. With my opinion, the production was super phenomenal, Jared Leto's vocals were so heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Let's see how far this one should get on there.

Tate McRae - Exes: Since Greedy hit the top spot, we now have this song making it's debut on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Greedy. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Tate's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Here's to hoping that it should do well on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Miley Cyrus - Used To Be Young: Can we please not let this song drop and let it go to the Top 3? I don't really want this song to be out of here.

4. Paul Russell - Lil Boo Thang: I'm pleased to see this song move up, but again I'm not sure if it'll go to the Top 3. But maybe it might. Let's see if it does soon.

3. Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer: Gosh, this song sure must've been enjoying the Top 3. But I do know it's been in there for quite a while mostly because of how well it did at the top spot on there. But I'm sure it's going to be out of here very soon.

2. Doja Cat - Paint The Town Red: Yeah I'm sure this song is definitely going to be staying in the Top 3 for a while because of it's phenomenal run at the top spot. Let's see how long it'll stay in there even more.

1. Tate McRae - Greedy: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm pleased that it's still in there. And I'm sure this song might end up staying at this spot for a few more weeks longer at the very least. Let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
