Dua Lipa (1) Week Of February 3, 2024
So the month of February is now here. So far this year is off to a great start with music on there. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it still looks amazing, however we did welcome back a crappy song on there, which wasn't a good thing. But we do have another brand new #1 song on there, but I'm gonna get to it later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Meghan Trainor - Made You Look (2nd and final week at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
Thirty Seconds To Mars - Seasons (+10) totally deserves to take the biggest jump! I'm so pleased to see it do that. Now, hopefully it'll go to the Top 10 soon.
Ariana Grande - Yes, And?, Teddy Swims - Lose Control and Tate McRae - Greedy (-3) were all tied for a short biggest drop this week. Although it wasn't actually that bad, but I still wasn't too thrilled to see them do that.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
People R Ugly - Brain Dead: WHY DO WE NEED THIS SONG TO COME BACK TO THE COUNTDOWN?????!!!!! This does not deserve to re-enter there. This better not do so well on it's second run on there.
Justin Timberlake - Selfish: After doing two re-teamings last year, he's got a new solo album coming soon. I'm really looking forward to see what it looks like. And now, here's one of the songs from that upcoming album on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Better Place, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Justin's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly and fun. Let's see how this one does on there.
Benson Boone - Beautiful Things: The best countdown debut this week. This is absolutely a phenomenal song and it's actually the best song that I've ever heard from him. It's definitely a step up from all of his other songs. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Benson's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly and I love his screaming in it. Hopefully this should do well on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Olivia Rodrigo - Get Him Back!: Yeah I don't think this song is ever coming back to the Top 3. But I'm sure this is going to be it's last week in there.
4. Tate McRae - Greedy: I actually thought that it was still going to be at the top spot this week, but it isn't. It was 3 weeks away from tying the record, but again I don't think it's ever going to happen. But I'm sure it's going to stay in the Top 5 for a few more weeks longer and then be out of here.
3. Jonas Brothers/Bailey Zimmerman - Strong Enough: I'm pleased to see this song come back to the Top 5 and back in the Top 3. But again I don't think it's ever going to be at the top spot, but I somehow like to see it stay in the Top 5 for a couple more weeks at the very least.
2. Sabrina Carpenter - Feather: It debuted the Top 5 this week and now it's almost at the top spot. But I don't think this song is ever going to hit the top spot, but let's see if it does soon.
1. Dua Lipa - Houdini: I'm so pleased to see this song at the top spot. This totally deserves to be in there! And now this is her 4th #1 song on there which was amazing. Now, let's see how long it could hold the spot.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

Eliza Rose/Calvin Harris - Body Moving: I'm pleased to see this song come back on there. I know it has been in the abyss last week so it's always nice to see it come back. Now, let's see if this should have another chance to be on the countdown soon.
Charlieonafriday - Somebody New: This is the only Hit Bound entrant we have this week. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as I'm Not Crazy, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Charlie's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
