Olivia Rodrigo (3) Week Of December 23, 2023

So Christmas is almost here! I'm so looking forward to see what Santa got me this year. I'm sure hoping it'll be some more amazing presents and more sweet stuff on my stocking. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it looks so interesting, however our Top 5 this week wasn't as good as last week's, but it still looks amazing. But I'm gonna get to it later on in this post like what I always do. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero (6 of 10 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see Paul Russell - Lil Boo Thang (+9) take the biggest jump back to the Top 10. It really deserves it! And I'm sure hoping that it should go to the Top 5 very soon.

Well I kinda expected Miley Cyrus - Used To Be Young (-11) to drop out of the Top 5 this week, and now it has the biggest drop all the way out of the Top 10 from there. And I'm sure this song is going to be out of here very soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Nicki Minaj/Lil Uzi Vert - Everybody: Although I wish Pink Friday Girls would be in there instead of this, but this is actually a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Pink Friday Girls, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Nicki's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, the chorus was so heavenly, and Lil Uzi Vert's rapping in his verse actually sounds so phenomenal. Let's see how far this goes on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Post Malone - Enough Is Enough: WHY DO WE NEED THIS SONG BACK IN THE TOP 5?????!!!!! This does not deserve to be back in there!!! Come on, we don't want this to be at the top spot. I've seriously had enough of him!

4. Tate McRae - Greedy: It dropped out of the Top 3 which I actually didn't expect. But I'm sure it's going to hang around in the Top 5 for a few more weeks longer at the very least.

3. Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now: I'm still waiting for this song to move up and get to the top spot. But hopefully it'll do it next week.

2. Dua Lipa - Houdini: It's almost at the top spot! I'm pleased to see this song move up and into the Top 3 this week. Now, let's see if it'll go to the top spot soon.

1. Olivia Rodrigo - Get Him Back!: Holding the top spot for the 3rd week in a row. I'm still pleased that it's still in there, although I'm sure another song might take over the spot very soon, but let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Boys Like Girls - Miracle

2. Jung Kook - Standing Next To You

4. People R Ugly - Brain Dead

5. Knox - Girl On The Internet

12. Patrick Martin - Dandelion Eyes

13. Renee Rapp/Megan Thee Stallion - Not My Fault

14. Alec Benjamin - I Sent My Therapist To Therapy

15. Dove Cameron - White Glove

16. LANY - XXL

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Victoria Monet - On My Mama: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. Of course we all remember her in her collaboration with Ariana Grande on Monopoly back in 2019 which I wish Hits 1 would've picked up because that was a phenomenal song for me back then. And now, she has made her first ever appearance on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Victoria's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Central Cee - Entrepreneur: After his collaboration on Too Much and Nice To Meet You which dropped out of Hit Bound this week, we now have his first solo single making it's debut on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Central Cee's vocals were super amazing especially in his flow, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
