#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero (10th and final week at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so glad to see Noah Kahan - Stick Season (+13) take the biggest jump to the Top 20. It sure has been gaining lots of airplay on there this week. What a week for him! Now, let's see if it'll go to the Top 10 soon.

Well I kinda expected Paul Russell - Lil Boo Thang (-13) to drop out of the Top 5, but now it had the biggest drop this week. And I'm sure this song is going to be out of here soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Post Malone - Sign Me Up: Oh shoot... we have another song from his album Austin making it's debut on there this week. And of course this is also a garbage song for me. But definitely not as bad as Enough Is Enough, but it's still garbage. With my opinion, the production is so bad, Post's vocals were so awful as always, and the chorus was total garbage. But the lyrics were still so nicely-written, so I'll still give credit to that. But this is still another garbage song overall. I've seriously had enough of him. Hopefully this doesn't do too well on there.

Lewis Capaldi - Strangers: So he has put out a deluxe version of his album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent recently, and now we have one of the songs from it coming on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. But definitely not as good as Kenya Grace's song of the same title, but it's still amazing. With my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing, Lewis's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how far this one goes on there.

Lil Nas X - J Christ: This is just a decent song. I'm still not really huge on his music. Although his music isn't actually that bad, but it's still not good. There really isn't anything interesting to say about this song. Though the production here still sounds amazing, but again Lil Nas X's vocals still don't sound good here. But the chorus was decent and the lyrics were still so interesting, so I'll definitely still give credit to that. But it's still decent overall. Let's see how this one does on there.

Usher/Summer Walker/21 Savage - Good Good: I actually didn't expect this song to come back to the countdown, but I'm pleased to see it do that. Now, let's see how this one does on it's second run on there.

Ariana Grande - Yes, And?: The best countdown debut this week. She has finally made her return on there since 2021 with POV, which was super amazing because I actually expected her to come back on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from POV. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Ariana's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.

Jung Kook - Standing Next To You: This was actually his first solo song on there which was interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song and it's actually a step up from 3D. With my opinion on this song, the production was so amazing, Jung Kook's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal and fun. Let's see how this one does on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Olivia Rodrigo - Get Him Back!: I'm pleased to see this song back in the Top 5. Though I actually didn't expect it to be back in there, but it somehow did it. But I don't think it's ever going to come back to the Top 3 though.

4. Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now: Yeah this song deserves to move back up! Now, this needs to get back in the Top 3 within the next week or so.

3. Dua Lipa - Houdini: Yeah I don't think this song is ever going to hit the top spot on there. But again it might stay in the Top 3 for a few more weeks and then be out of here.

2. Teddy Swims - Lose Control: I'm pleased to see this song come back to the Top 3. But again I don't think this song is ever going to hit the top spot because of what's going on in there. But maybe it'll stay in there for a couple more weeks or so.

1. Tate McRae - Greedy: Holding the top spot for the 3rd week in a row. And now we are down to 4 more weeks for this song to tie the record for the most weeks spent at the top spot. And I'm sure this song is definitely the Anti-Hero of 2024 because of how well it's doing. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Knox - Here's To Us: He replaces himself on there this week. Although I wasn't too thrilled to see Girl On The Internet go, but as far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a little bit of a step up from Girl On The Internet. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Knox's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. And I'm sure this is going to be on the countdown when Not The 1975 hits the Top 5. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Zara Larsson - You Love Who You Love: So she has put out a new single from her upcoming album recently, and now it's been picked up on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as On My Love, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Zara's vocals were super phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Benson Boone - Beautiful Things: This is absolutely a phenomenal song and it's actually the best song that I've ever heard from him. It's definitely a step up from all of his other songs. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Benson's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly and I love his screaming in it. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

AJ Mitchell - Foolish: We haven't heard from him on there since three years ago when he had Stop on there. And now he's back. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Stop. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, AJ's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

Kygo/Ava Max - Whatever: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. This was actually one of the best collaborations I've ever seen on there because we have a super talented EDM producer collaborating with a super talented singer which was actually super duper amazing. And one thing I've noticed about this song is that it actually samples Shakira's 2002 hit song Whenever, Wherever, which was super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a super heavenly EDM song. With my opinion on this song, the production was super heavenly, Ava's vocals were pretty heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 10 Songs of the year when it makes the countdown. Hopefully it'll make it in there very soon.
