So the month of October is now officially here and now spooky season is now here. And we are also in the last quarter of the year as well. Gosh, time sure is flying by so fast. Anyway. #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer (5 of 7 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so pleased about Sabrina Carpenter - Taste (+4) taking the biggest jumps to the Top 20. This totally deserves to gain some airplay this week! Now, hopefully it'll go to the Top 10 very soon.
I'm not really too thrilled to see Eminem - Houdini (-5) taking the biggest drop. This totally doesn't deserve to take it! But I know it has been losing some airplay recently so I'm sure it's going to be out of here very soon.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Khalid - Heatstroke: He has made his return on there after a couple years off of making new music. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. But definitely not as good as Skyline, but it's still amazing. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Khalid's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were very interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how this one does on there.
Tate McRae - It's Ok I'm Ok: The best debut this week. So she has released this song a few weeks ago after being leaked for a while, and now here it is on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Greedy. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Tate's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how far this goes on there.
The Weeknd - Dancing In The Flames: He's now back on there since Popular last year, which was in my Top 10 Songs of last year in case you all remembered. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Popular, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Abel's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see how far this gets on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Shaboozey - A Bar Song (Tipsy): I actually didn't expect this song to come back to the Top 5, but I'm glad that it's back in there. But I'm sure this is going to be back out of here within the next week or so.
4. Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso: Wow, I feel like this song doesn't want to leave the Top 5. I know I said that because it has been doing super well lately. But again I'm sure this is going to be out of here pretty soon.
3. Sabrina Carpenter - Please Please Please: Yeah I'm sure this is going to stay in the Top 3 for at least a couple more weeks or so. Let's see how long it'll remain in there.
2. Chappell Roan - Good Luck, Babe!: It dropped out of the top spot. But it still had a nice time on there last week. Though I'm sure this is probably gonna stay in the Top 5 for at least a few more weeks and then be out of here.
1. Billie Eilish - Birds Of A Feather: I'm okay with this song at the top spot. I know she has been having a lot of #1 songs on there lately so I'm definitely still giving credit to that. Now, let's see how long it'll hold the spot.
