So things are now starting to get even more spooky and scary since Halloween is almost here. I sure hope everyone's being careful and look out! Anyway. But like always, I'm gonna get to them later on in this post. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Tate McRae - Greedy (2 of 11 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
Lady Gaga/Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile and Myles Smith - Stargazing (+4) took a short biggest jump this week as they both jumped to the Top 5, which I'm pleased to see. What a week for all of them!
I'm not too thrilled to see Coldplay/Little Simz/Burna Boy/Elyanna/TINI - We Pray (-7) take the biggest drop. How could this happen? But hopefully it'll move back up very soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Morgan Wallen - Love Somebody: I've been hearing this song a lot on The Highway. And of course this song is also doing so well on the country radio charts recently which was awesome. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song and it's actually a step up from Cowgirls. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Morgan's vocals were so remarkable, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how this one does on there.
Rose/Bruno Mars - APT.: The best countdown debut this week. She has finally made her first appearance on there after On The Ground dropped out of Hit Bound back in 2021. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from On The Ground. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, both Rose and Bruno sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Lady Gaga/Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile: It debuted the Top 5 this week thanks to it's biggest jump. I'm so pleased to see this song in there and I'm really hoping that it should go to the Top 3 very soon.
4. Myles Smith - Stargazing: I'm glad to see this song come back to the Top 5 this week. But again I'm sure this is not going to end up being in the Top 3, but let's see what happens next.
3. Chappell Roan - Hot To Go!: Yeah I'd like it to stay in the Top 5 for at least a few more weeks and then be out of here. Though I'll keep it in the Top 3 for at least a couple more weeks.
2. Sabrina Carpenter - Taste: It dropped out of the top spot. But it still had a nice time in there. Though I'd like it to at least stay in the Top 3 for at least a few more weeks or so.
1. Billie Eilish - Birds Of A Feather: I'm fine with this song at the top spot. Though I actually didn't expect it to be in there, but now here it is. And this was actually her first ever #1 song on there (although Therefore I Am was the #1 song of 2021 according to Hits 1, but it didn't actually hit #1 on the countdown), so I'd like to say congratulations to her even though this song wasn't actually that good for me. But I'm definitely still giving credit to that. Now, let's see how long it'll hold the spot.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Jason Derulo/Jawsh 685 - Make Me Happy (DEBUT)
2. Halsey - Panic Attack (DEBUT)
3. Henry Moodie - Good Old Days
4. Lady Gaga - Disease (DEBUT)
5. Akon - Akon's Beautiful Day (DEBUT)
6. Lawrence - Whatcha Want
7. Gracie Abrams - That's So True
8. Jennie - Mantra
9. Gigi Perez - Sailor Song
10. Knox - Invisible
11. Damiano David - Born With A Broken Heart (DEBUT)
12. Dasha - Bye Bye Bye
13. Myles Smith - Wait For You
14. Balu Brigada - So Cold
15. Hayes Warner - ZIP
16. Jelly Roll/Halsey - Take A Bow
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Jason Derulo/Jawsh 685 - Make Me Happy: So they have collaborated again after Savage Love became a hit back in 2020. And apparently I found this song that this was actually Savage Love part 2, which I think is so interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. But definitely not as good as Savage Love, but it's still amazing. With my opinion on it, the production was so amazing, Jason's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Halsey - Panic Attack: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. So she has dropped The Great Impersonator yesterday, and now we have one of the songs from it debuting on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a little bit of a step up from I Never Loved You. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Halsey's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Here's to hoping that it should make the countdown soon.
Lady Gaga - Disease: Since Die With A Smile hit the Top 5 on the countdown, we've now picked up a new single from her this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Die With A Smile, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Gaga's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so remarkable, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if this will be on the countdown soon.
Akon - Akon's Beautiful Day: He has made his grand return on there since Who Dat Girl back in 2011. And of course I've gone through some of his old songs back in my 2000's Billboard Decade-End Chart Review in my 200,000 Pageview Special in case you remember. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. With my opinion, the production was so remarkable, Akon's vocals were super amazing, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so phenomenal and I really fell in love with it. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.
Damiano David - Born With A Broken Heart: We've now picked up a new single from him after we say good riddance to that no good Silverlines. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's definitely way better than Silverlines. With my opinion on it, the production was super amazing, Damiano's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
