Billie Eilish (2) Week Of November 2, 2024

So we are now officially in the month of November and of course we're starting to get in the holiday spirit which was so exciting. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it looks so phenomenal. Although we did get rid of a song that was going to be in my top songs of the year, but we did replace it with another song that was going to be in there which was actually a very nice thing about it. And we also have some more interesting stuff happening on there this week, but I'm gonna get to them later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Tate McRae - Greedy (3 of 11 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

Coldplay/Little Simz/Burna Boy/Elyanna/TINI - We Pray (+11) took the biggest jump this week after taking the biggest drop last week which I'm so pleased to see. This really deserves it! Now, hopefully it'll go to the Top 10 very soon.

Dasha - Austin (-6) took the biggest drop as it has started to lose airplay which I actually expected to happen because I know it's been in there for a super long time. And I'm sure this is going to be the end of it.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

David Guetta/Alphaville/Ava Max - Forever Young: The best countdown entrant this week. And I've found out that this song actually samples Alphaville's own hit song from 1984, just like what Jay-Z and Mr. Hudson did with Young Forever back in 2010. To me, this was actually the best thing about this song. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so heavenly, Ava's vocals were pretty heavenly, Marian Gold's vocals were extremely heavenly, I'm definitely a humongous fan of the lyrics, and the chorus and samples were extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 10 Songs of the year. Hopefully this should do amazing on there.

Damiano David - Born With A Broken Heart: This song actually debuted on there with 0 spins this week and it's actually Sunday Besting on there this week which was super interesting. And now he made his return on there after that no good Silverlines dropped out of Hit Bound a few weeks ago. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's definitely way better than Silverlines. With my opinion on it, the production was super amazing, Damiano's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see how this one does on there.

Lady Gaga - Disease: We now have this song debuting on there since Die With A Smile hit the Top 3 this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Die With A Smile, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Gaga's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so remarkable, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how far this goes on there.

LISA - Moonlit Floor: I've noticed that this song actually samples Sixpence None The Richer's 1998 hit song Kiss Me, which I think is super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal and fun song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Lisa's vocals were super incredible, the lyrics were super duper nicely-written, and the chorus and samples were super heavenly and fun. Let's see how far this one gets on there.

Taylor Swift - So High School: We've now picked up a new single from The Tortured Poets Department debuting straight on there from the abyss. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another heavenly song and it's actually a little bit of a step up from I Can Do It With A Broken Heart. With my opinion on this song, the production was super phenomenal, Taylor's vocals were so heavenly, I'm definitely a humongous fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Myles Smith - Stargazing: Yeah I'm sure this song is definitely not going to be in the Top 3. But I'm sure this is going to be back out of here sometime soon.

4. Chappell Roan - Hot To Go!: It dropped out of the Top 3 which I kinda expected to happen. But it still had an incredible run in there. But I'm sure this is going to be out of here very soon.

3. Lady Gaga/Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile: I'm so pleased to see this song in the Top 3. And I'm sure hoping that it should go to the top spot very soon. In fact, she actually hasn't had a #1 song on there in a long time so hopefully this song should do it!

2. Sabrina Carpenter - Taste: Yeah I'd like it to stay in the Top 3 for at least a few more weeks. Let's see how long it'll remain in there.

1. Billie Eilish - Birds Of A Feather: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm okay with this song still in there. I know it has been getting super popular lately. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

The Weeknd/Annita - Sao Paulo: Since Dancing In The Fames hit the Top 10, we've now picked up a new single from him on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal and fun song and it's actually a step up from Dancing In The Flames. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, both Abel and Annita sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly and fun. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Almost Monday - Can't Slow Down: I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. And of course they're back after Sunburn dropped out of here back in 2022. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song and it's actually a step up from Sunburn. With my opinion on it, the production was so amazing, Dawson's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was s phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Jessie Murph - Sip: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. She's now back after High Road with Koe Wetzel dropped out of here a couple months ago. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as High Road, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Jessie's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
