2024: A Year In Review, Part 1: My Bottom 10 Songs Of 2024

What a year 2024 has been with music. As far as the year goes, I thought it has been quite a phenomenal year with music. But we also had crappy music we got this year. So for this post, I'm going to be counting down my Bottom 10 Songs Of 2024. Of course we all know it's not going to be every song that made Hits 1, but of course most of them are rap music that appeared on the Hot 100 throughout the year, and of course that is definitely not my type of genre. So now, let's get to my Bottom 10 Songs Of 2024. We won't go through my dishonorable mentions since there weren't too many songs from this year that I hate, so let's just get right into it.

Bottom 10 Songs Of 2024:

10. Bad Bunny - Monaco - Of course you probably saw that one coming because I really hate him. He's been using a lot of Spanish lyrics since he's from Puerto Rico, and that wasn't really fun because I really don't understand Spanish. This is absolutely a garbage song. The production sounded so awful, Bad Bunny's rapping was so horrible, I'm not really huge on the lyrics, and wow that chorus was absolutely garbage. But yeah, definitely not a fun song overall. Let's just move on.

9. Bryson Tiller - Whatever She Wants - You know I actually thought he sounded heavenly in his verse in Wild Thoughts with DJ Khaled and Rihanna back in 2017. But this new song was definitely not the example of it. This is such another garbage song and easily his worst song ever. The production was so terrible, Bryson's vocals were so horrible, I'm not really a fan of the lyrics, and that chorus was so garbage. So yeah, this is definitely not a good song overall for me to listen to. NEXT!

8. Future/Metro Boomin/Travis Scott/Playboi Carti - Type Shit - I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but my gosh this song is super awful and easily one of Future's worst songs that I've ever heard. Metro Boomin's production was so bland, Future, Travis and Playboi all sound super awful in their verses, the lyrics don't make any sense at all, and wow that chorus was so generic. But yeah, this is absolutely an awful song. I seriously had enough of it. Let's move on.

7. GloRilla - Yeah Glo! - Of course you might remember when Tomorrow 2 with Cardi B. was in this list last year, but this new song actually ranked higher than it because it's actually way worse than Tomorrow 2. This is absolutely a generic song. The production was super bland, GloRilla's vocals were super horrible, the lyrics weren't that good, and the chorus was super generic. So yeah, this sure wasn't a fun song overall. I seriously had enough of this one. Let's just move on.

6. Flo Milli - Never Lose Me - I've actually found her voice being so annoying and bad for me since I actually listened to one of her songs and this one is one of them. This was easily her worst song that I've ever heard. It's absolutely a generic and garbage song. The production was super awful, Flo Milli's rapping was super annoying and generic, and wow that chorus was super egregious. But yeah, this is absolutely not a good song for me to listen to and this deserves to be in there. NEXT!

5. 21 Savage - Redrum - Yes, this is easily one of the worst songs that I've ever heard from him. I know he has been getting better at rapping when he's been featured by some really good artists. But this new song is super awful and generic. The production was so generic, 21 Savage's rapping was super generic, the lyrics were not nicely-written at all, and wow that chorus was so egregious. But yeah, this is absolutely a super horrible song and this deserves to be on this list. Let's move on.

4. Drake/J. Cole - First Person Shooter - This has got to be one of the worst songs that I've ever heard from him. There really is nothing good to say about it at all. It's absolutely an egregious song. The production was super generic, Drake's vocals were so egregious, J. Cole's rapping in his verse was as so egregious, the lyrics don't really make any sense at all, and wow that chorus was super egregious. But yeah, this is definitely an egregious song and it deserves to be on there. NEXT!

3. Y$/Rich The Kid/Playboi Carti - Carnival - This rap group actually consists of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, which is okay because I actually like Kanye but not Dolla. And of course this song is absolutely egregious. The production was so egregious, all of them sound super egregious, the lyrics were a huge mess, and the chorus was so grating. But yeah, this is not a good song for me at all and this totally deserves to be in there. Let's just move on.

2. 4Batz/Drake - Act II: Date @ 8 - This was actually his first ever appearance on this list because this is easily the worst song that I've ever heard from him. This is absolutely a grating song. The production was super egregious, 4Batz's rapping was so grating, Drake's vocals in his contribution were also grating, the lyrics were super garbage, and wow that chorus was super grating. But yeah, I can't really stand this song. I don't really want to listen to it ever again. It totally deserves to be in there. Now, let's move on to my worst song of the year.

1. FloyyMenor/Cris MJ - Gata Only - This is it. This is my #1 worst song of the year. This is easily the worst song that I've ever heard from him. I seriously have no idea why he would do such a thing like this, but this is definitely an extremely grating song. The production was extremely grating, both FloyyMenor and Cris MJ sound extremely grating, the lyrics were super duper awful, and wow that chorus was extremely grating and painful to listen to. So yeah, this is absolutely the worst song that I've ever heard this year. I don't really want to listen to it again forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever, because this is such an extremely grating song for me to listen to. I really am done with this song.
