So I've now officially turned 22 on Wednesday. Gosh, this actually feels so good to be 22 right now. I sure am getting old. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it looks super amazing. Also, this is the last AT40 of 2024. Gosh, it sure has been an amazing year for music on there. We do have some more amazing debuts this week and we also have lots of amazing stuff happening on there. But like always, I'm gonna get to them later on in this post. I'm so glad to see Damiano David - Born With A Broken Heart (+7) take the biggest jumps to the Top 30. This deserves to gain airplay! What a week for him! Now, hopefully it'll go to the Top 20 soon.

Khalid - Heatstroke (-10) sure has been losing airplay recently. Although I wasn't that happy to see it take the biggest drop. But I'm sure it's going to be out of here very soon.

New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:

Chappell Roan - Pink Pony Club: The best debut this week. Since Hot To Go is on it's way out of here, we now have this song debuting on there this week. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song. But definitely not as good as Hot To Go, but it's still heavenly. With my opinion on this song, the production was super phenomenal, Chappell's vocals were so heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully this should do amazing on there.

Gracie Abrams - That's So True: This song now joins Close To You on there since it's continuing to do well on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Close To You. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Gracie's vocals were super phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how far this goes on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso: I actually didn't expect this song to come back in the Top 5. But I'm pleased to see that. But I'm sure it's going to drop back out of here in a few weeks.

4. Hozier - Too Sweet: Yeah I'm sure it's going to be out of the Top 5 very soon. But maybe I'd like it to stay in there for up until the next countdown in a few more weeks and then it'll be out of here.

3. Sabrina Carpenter - Taste: No, this can't be moving down! I'm still waiting for this song to get to the top spot, but maybe it might very soon.

2. Myles Smith - Stargazing: It's almost at the top spot! I'm glad to see this song move up to that spot. But can this be his first ever #1 song on there? We're gonna have to find out in the next countdown.

1. Lady Gaga/Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm so pleased that it's still in there. And of course it's going to stay in there for the next 2 weeks since this is the last AT40 of the year. Gosh, it really has been quite another amazing year for music on there. I'm so looking forward to see what 2025 will look like for new music on there. Hopefully it'll be another amazing year for it.
