Lady Gaga (2) Week Of December 7, 2024
So we're now officially in the month of December and now we're ready to get into the holiday spirit. And we only have one more month left until the new year which was exciting. Gosh, time sure does fly by so fast. Also, my birthday is coming on Wednesday. I'm gonna be turning 22. Gosh, I feel like I'm growing old so fast. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it looks so phenomenal and interesting. We do have one debut that was possibly gonna be in my top songs of next year along with the other ones being from a musical which was so interesting. But like always, I'm gonna get to them later on in this post. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Olivia Rodrigo - Get Him Back! (1 of 4 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so pleased to see Chappell Roan - Pink Pony Club (+10) take the biggest jump all the way to the Top 5 this week. This totally deserves it!
Since that happened, Chappell Roan - Hot To Go! (-12) took the biggest drop all the way out of the Top 10 from the Top 5, and now Pink Pony Club took over it's place. But I'm sure this is going to be out of here very soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Ariana Grande - Popular: So we have both songs from Wicked debuting on there this week which was super interesting. And I've noticed that Ariana played Galinda in the film, which was actually so amazing to me. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Ariana's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.
Kendrick Lamar/SZA - Luther: The best countdown debut this week. And this was actually the second time that those two collaborated because the last time they collaborated was All The Stars from the Black Panther soundtrack back in 2018. And of course in case you remember, All The Stars was in my Top 10 Songs of 2018, landing at #3 on that list. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song. But definitely not as good as All The Stars, but it's still heavenly. With my opinion on this song, the production was so heavenly, both Kendrick and SZA sound super heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. This could end up in my Top 10 Songs of the year if it stays on there in the beginning of the year. Hopefully this will do amazing in there.
Cynthia Erivo/Ariana Grande - Defying Gravity: And here's the second song from Wicked debuting on there. And of course Cynthia played Elphaba in it and I thought she did an amazing job as well. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Popular. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, both Cynthia and Ariana sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super heavenly. Let's see how far this goes on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Myles Smith - Stargazing: Well I'm sure this song is about to be out of the Top 5. But it still had a nice run in there. Maybe I'll keep it in there for one more week.
4. Chappell Roan - Pink Pony Club: Thanks to it's biggest jump this week, this song now debuts the Top 5 replacing Hot To Go since it's on it's way out of here. I'm so pleased to see it in there and I'm sure hoping that it should be in the Top 3 very soon.
3. Billie Eilish - Birds Of A Feather: I'm fine with it still in the Top 3, but again I'm sure this is going to be out of here very soon. But let's see what happens next.
2. Sabrina Carpenter - Taste: Yeah I'd like it to stay in the Top 3 for at least a few more weeks or so. I know it's because it's her. Let's see how long it'll remain in there.
1. Lady Gaga/Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm so pleased that it's still in there. It sure has been getting so popular recently. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Rose - Toxic Till The End: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. She has replaced herself on there this week. Though I wasn't actually that thrilled to see Number One Girl leave, but as far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Number One Girl. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Rose's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were pretty amazing, and the chorus was super heavenly. Here's to hoping that this should make the countdown soon.
DJ Lucas Beat/Jason Derulo/Sia - You Can Do Anything (MTG DA SIA): We have a random new Portuguese DJ making his Hits 1 debut which was actually super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, both Jason and Sia sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Crash Adams - Optimist: They are now back on there after Hotel Party was on there this past summer. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Hotel Party, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so incredible, the vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so remarkable, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
Teddy Swims - Bad Dreams: I'm glad to see this song come back in there. Though I actually didn't expect it to happen but I know this song is now starting to get popular so that's why it had to come back. Now, hopefully this song should have another chance to be on the countdown soon.
