My Top 10 Songs Of 2024

As what I said, we have a lot of amazing songs this year. So now, I'm going to count down my top 10 songs of the year and explain why those songs were on there. Of course we all know it's going to be every song that made Hits 1. Some of them actually did not do so well on the countdown this year, but some of them did amazing on there. As always, we won't go through my honorable mentions, because there's actually a lot of amazing songs this year. So now, let's get to my top 10 songs of the year. But before we do that, here are my top 10 songs of last year:

Now, here are my Top 10 Songs Of 2024:


10. Glass Animals - Creatures In Heaven - They're now back on this list after 2 years since I ranked Heat Waves on there. This is definitely a heavenly song and it's actually a little bit of a step up from Heat Waves, although Heat Waves actually ranked higher than this, but it's still a step up from it just a little bit. The production was so heavenly, Dave Bayley's vocals were super heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. But yeah, this really deserves to be on there. It's such a heavenly song overall for me to listen to.


9. Hozier - Too Sweet - This was actually his first ever appearance on this list which was actually so amazing. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another heavenly song and it's definitely the best song that I've ever heard from him. It's definitely a huge step up from Take Me To Church and all of his other songs. The production was so heavenly, Hozier's vocals were super heavenly, I'm definitely a humongous fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. But yeah, it's such another heavenly song overall and it really deserves to be on this list.


8. Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso - This was actually the first time in 5 years that she actually appeared on this list which was super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely another heavenly song and it's definitely a huge step up from Feather, Please Please Please and Taste. The production was so heavenly, Sabrina's vocals were super heavenly, the lyrics were super duper nicely-written and they're definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. So yeah, overall it's such another heavenly song and it really deserves to be on there.


7. MAX/Huh Yunjin - Stupid In Love - This is absolutely another heavenly song and it's easily the best song that I've ever heard from him. It's definitely a huge step up from Strings and all of his other songs. The production was so heavenly, MAX's vocals were super heavenly, Huh Yunjin's vocals were also super heavenly in her contribution, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. So yeah, overall it's heavenly and this totally deserves to be on there.


6. David Guetta/Alphaville/Ava Max - Forever Young - He has now been on this list for 3 straight years which was actually super exciting. I know it's because I really love how he samples old songs in his music. He's actually my favorite EDM artist of all time because of that. And of course this song actually samples Alphaville's own hit song from 1984 of the same title which was actually super amazing. This is definitely a super heavenly EDM song. The production was so heavenly, Ava's vocals were pretty heavenly, Marian Gold's vocals were extremely heavenly, I'm definitely a humongous fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. But yeah, overall it's such a heavenly song and it really deserves to be in there.


5. The Beaches - Blame Brett - They've now officially made their first ever appearance on this list which was actually super amazing. Also I've been hearing Edge Of The Earth on Alt Nation recently which I wish Hits 1 would've picked up because that was also a heavenly song. As far as this one goes, it's definitely a super heavenly song and it's actually a little bit of a step up from Edge Of The Earth. The production was so heavenly, Jordan Miller's vocals were super heavenly, the lyrics were super heavenly and I'm a humongous fan of them, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. But yeah, this totally deserves to be in there. It's such a heavenly song overall.


4. Coldplay - Feelslikeimfallinginlove - Of course you might remember when they last appeared on this list back in 2021 with My Universe with BTS, and that was ranked as my #1 song of the year back then. As for this song, it's definitely an extremely heavenly song. The production was super heavenly, Chris's vocals were extremely heavenly, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. So yeah, this is such an extremely heavenly song and this totally deserves to be on there.


3. Charli XCX - 360 - She also made her first ever appearance on this list which was always an amazing thing. This is absolutely another extremely heavenly song and it's definitely the best song that I've ever heard from her. It's definitely a huge step up from Apple and all of her other songs. The production was super heavenly, Charli's vocals were extremely heavenly, I'm definitely a humongous fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. So yeah, overall it's such an extremely heavenly song and this totally deserves to be on there.


2. Eminem - Houdini - This song actually interpolates three of his own songs (Without Me, My Name Is and Just Lose It) as well as Steve Miller Band's 1982 hit song Abracadabra, which was actually super duper interesting. This is absolutely another extremely heavenly song and it's definitely the best song that I've ever heard from him. It's definitely a huge step up from Dua Lipa's song of the same title and all of his other songs. The production was super heavenly, Eminem's rapping was extremely heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of and they're extremely heavenly, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. But yeah, this is absolutely an extremely heavenly song and this totally deserves to be on this list.


1. Linkin Park - The Emptiness Machine - This is it. This is my #1 song of 2024. And of course when I gave this song a first listen, I've actually found out that the new lead singer Emily Armstrong has a much better voice than Chester Bennington and I feel pretty amazed by that. This is definitely an extremely heavenly song. The production was extremely heavenly, Emily's vocals were extremely heavenly, Mike Shinoda's vocals in his verse were also extremely heavenly, the lyrics were extremely heavenly, the chorus was extremely heavenly song, everything on this song was extremely heavenly. But yeah, overall it's such an extremely heavenly song and it totally deserves to be my top song of the year.
