#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now (2nd and final week at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
Benson Boone - Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else (+8) sure has been gaining airplay on pop radio recently and I'm so glad to see this song take the biggest jump. What a week for him! Now, hopefully it'll go to the Top 20 soon.
Addison Rae - Diet Pepsi (-14) took the biggest drop for the second week in a row as it continues to lose lots of airplay. I'm actually okay with that because I'm sure this is going to be out of here very soon.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Almost Monday - Can't Slow Down: I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. And of course this was actually their first ever appearance on there which was actually so interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song and it's actually a step up from Sunburn. With my opinion on it, the production was so amazing, Dawson's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how this one does on there.
Billie Eilish - Wildflower: After the success of Birds Of A Feather, we now have this song debuting on there this week. But I gotta say, this is just another decent song. Though not as decent as Birds Of A Feather, but it's still decent. With my opinion, the production still sounds amazing, though Billie's vocals do still sound childish. But the lyrics were still very nicely-written, and the chorus was decent. So yeah, this is another decent song overall. Let's see how far this goes on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Chappell Roan - Pink Pony Club: It debuted the Top 5 which I actually expected. I'm so pleased to see this song in there. This really deserves to be in there! Now, hopefully it'll go to the Top 3 very soon.
4. Rose/Bruno Mars - APT.: I actually didn't expect this song to drop out of the Top 3, but I'm sure it's starting to lose some airplay on pop radio so it might get out of here sometime soon.
3. Lady Gaga/Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile: It dropped out of the top spot again and now it's about to be on it's way out of here. I know it's been in the Top 3 for a super long time so it's probably time for this song to be out of here.
2. Sabrina Carpenter - Bed Chem: It finally made it to the Top 3 and now it's almost at the top spot! I'm pleased to see this song in the Top 3. This really needs to be in there because of course it's her. And I'm sure hoping that it should go to the top spot very soon.
1. Gracie Abrams - That's So True: She now has her first ever #1 song on there which was super amazing. I'm so pleased to see this song at the top spot. I somehow didn't expect it to be in there, but this deserves it! Now, let's see how long it'll hold the spot.
