AT40: Sabrina Carpenter (1) Week Of April 5, 2025
So we are now officially in the second quarter of the year. Gosh, the first quarter has been super amazing with music. Hopefully we keep things up in the next 3 quarters of this year! Also, I do have another new color for my color-coding code because I heard Zestpond started using this color last week, and that is this color:
Light Purple = Song Is Phenomenal/Heavenly
I will now start using this color for phenomenal or heavenly songs. So hopefully you guys like it! Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it looks so interesting. We do have yet another brand new #1 song on there which was always nice about it, and we also have some more interesting stuff happening on there including some of our biggest jumps. But as always, I'm gonna get to them later on in this post. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 40, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Jack Harlow - Lovin On Me (3rd and final week at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
Billie Eilish - Wildflower took a short biggest jump which I'm okay with, but aside from that, Benson Boone - Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else and Teddy Swims - Bad Dreams (+4) were also tied for the short biggest jump this week which I'm glad to see. Those two deserve it!
I'm really not too thrilled to see Sexyy Red/Bruno Mars - Fat Juicy & Wet (-6) take the biggest drop. Why would it lose some airplay? This does not deserve to do that! But I have a feeling that this song might flop. But I'm sure hoping it doesn't.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Lizzo - Still Bad: Although I actually wish they would've picked up Love In Real Life first, but as far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Love In Real Life, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal and I really love the alt vibes they have on there, Lizzo's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were very nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how this one does on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Rose/Bruno Mars - APT.: Well it's about to be out of the Top 5. But it still had quite an amazing run in there especially in the top spot. But I know it's been in there for a while so I'm sure it's going to start losing some airplay.
4. Chappell Roan - Pink Pony Club: I'm glad to see this song move up. Now, can we please let this song go to the Top 3 within the next week or so? I really would like to see it get in there.
3. Lady Gaga/Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile: I'm glad that it's still in the Top 3, but again I'm sure it's definitely going to be out of here within the next week or so. But it still had an amazing long run in there though.
2. Gracie Abrams - That's So True: It dropped out of the top spot. But it still had a nice time in there last week. Though I'd like it to stay in the Top 3 for at least a few more weeks. But let's see what happens next.
1. Sabrina Carpenter - Bed Chem: I'm pleased to see this song at the top spot. Of course it had to do that because we know it's her. Gosh, nothing can really stop her on there! Now, let's see how long it'll hold the spot.
