Lady Gaga (5) Week Of May 10, 2025

As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it still looks amazing, however we did get rid of a song that was going to be in my top songs of the year which was always sad to see. However we do have some more interesting stuff that happened on there this week including our Top 5. But I'm gonna get to that later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Hozier - Too Sweet (1 of 6 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm fine with Morgan Wallen/Post Malone - I Ain't Comin' Back (+9) taking the biggest jump to the Top 20. I'll still give credit to that. However if this goes to the Top 10 soon, I'll still be okay with that. Let's see if it'll be in there soon.

Shaboozey - Good News (-9) took the biggest drop which I actually expected because I know it's been on there for quite a while. But I'm actually fine with that because I know it's going to be out of here very soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Maroon 5/LISA - Priceless: This is the only great debut we have this week. They have finally made their return on there since Beautiful Mistakes with Megan Thee Stallion in 2021. Gosh, I really have been waiting for them to make their return on there since then, and now here they are. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's definitely a step up from Middle Ground. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, both Adam and Lisa sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were pretty miraculous, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.

Charli XCX - Party 4 U: This song was actually released in 2020 and apparently it's trending on TikTok and now it just got popular. I really have no idea how this song was trending on TikTok, but my gosh this song was so awful and repetitive and easily one of the worst songs that I've ever heard from her. There really is nothing good to say about this song. The production was so generic, Charli's vocals were so awful, and the last half of the song was just her repeating "party on you" over and over which gets super annoying. So yeah, this is such an awful song overall. This is definitely going to end up in my Bottom 10 Songs of the year. Hopefully this doesn't become a hit.

Gigi Perez - Sailor Song: I actually didn't expect this song to come back to the countdown. But I'm still cool with that. However I'm sure this is not going to do as well as it did on it's first run in there, but let's see how this one does on it's second run.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Teddy Swims - Bad Dreams: It dropped back out of the Top 3 which I actually expected to happen. Though I'm sure this is going to drop back out of the Top 5 very soon.

4. Sabrina Carpenter - Busy Woman: I'm pleased to see this song in the Top 5. This really deserves to be in there! Gosh, she sure has been having a lot of Top 5 Songs on there. I get that the fact that it's her. Now, let's see if it'll be in the Top 3 very soon.

3. Benson Boone - Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else: I'm also pleased to see this song in the Top 5 and into the Top 3. This also deserves to be in there. Now, hopefully this song should go to the top spot soon.

2. Rose - Toxic Till The End: Gosh, this song sure has been blocked from the top spot for 5 straight weeks. I know it's because of what's going on in the top spot. But I'm sure this is going to be out of the Top 3 pretty soon.

1. Lady Gaga - Abracadabra: Holding the top spot for the 5th week in a row. Gosh, nothing can really stop this song from becoming super popular on there. I'm once again pleased to see it in there yet again. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Michael Clifford - Cool

2. Rose - Messy (DEBUT)

3. BigXthaPlug/Bailey Zimmerman - All The Way

4. Avril Lavigne/Simple Plan - Young & Dumb (DEBUT)

5. Jon Bellion/Pharrell - Horoscope (DEBUT)

6. Emei - Crazy Stupid Love

7. Maren Morris - Lemonade (DEBUT)

8. Jessie Murph - Blue Strips

9. Joe Jonas - Heart By Heart

10. D4vd - Feel It (RE-ENTRY)

11. Ed Sheeran - Old Phone

12. Kesha/T-Pain - Yippee-Ki-Yay

13. The Paradox - Do Me Like That

14. Damiano David - Voices (DEBUT)

15. Dove Cameron - French Girls

16. Shaboozey/Myles Smith - Blink Twice

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Rose - Messy: This was actually one of the songs that was taken from the soundtrack of the new F1 movie, which I'm so looking forward to seeing in theaters when it comes out in June. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Toxic Till The End or Lola Young's song of the same title, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Rose's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Avril Lavigne/Simple Plan - Young & Dumb: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. It's so nice to see Avril collab with a 2000's pop punk band who were last seen on Hits 1 back in 2008 when Your Love Is A Lie was on the countdown. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a super heavenly song. With my opinion on this song, the production was super heavenly, Avril and Simple Plan singer Pierre Bouvier both sound extremely heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 5 Songs of the year when it makes the countdown. Hopefully it'll be in there soon.

Jon Bellion/Pharrell - Horoscope: This is just a decent song. There really is not much interesting to say about it. Though I'm not really feeling the production here and there's not a whole lot of beat, but Jon's vocals were still super amazing and Pharrell still sounds phenomenal in the second verse. Though the chorus was decent and I don't really mind the lyrics because I think they're still so interesting. But this is a decent song overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Maren Morris - Lemonade: She has made her return on there after Push Me Over dropped out of here last year. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Push Me Over. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Maren's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written and I appreciate all the lemonade puns throughout the song which actually fits very well since that's the name of the song. And the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should make the countdown soon.

D4vd - Feel It: I know this song has only spent 2 weeks on the countdown last year, but now it came back on there this week for no reason. Gosh, I'm not really too thrilled to see this song come back on there. That's not possible! But I know this song was trending again because it was on some show called Invincible which I've actually never watched. But still, this does not deserve to be back in there. Hopefully this should be out of Hit Bound very soon and never come back to the countdown. I've seriously had enough of this song.

Damiano David - Voices: What I've noticed about this song is that it seems to sample John Newman's 2013 hit song Love Me Again, which I think is super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Damiano's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
