So I don't know if you guys have ever known this, but I've now reached over 300,000 pageviews on my blog!!! I really would like to thank everyone for reading all my posts. I will do another very special post coming out very soon once I think about it. So please stay tuned for that coming soon! Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it looks super amazing, however we did welcome back a crappy song after a year on there, but we do have another debut that was going to be in my top songs of the year which was always a better note. But I'm gonna get to that later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Hozier - Too Sweet (2 of 6 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so pleased to see Ariana Grande - Twilight Zone (+11) take the biggest jump all the way to the Top 10. This really deserves it and deserves to be in there! Now, hopefully this should get in the Top 5 soon.
I'm not that thrilled to see Lola Young - Messy (-5) take the biggest drop, but I know it's been in there for a while so I'm sure this is going to be out of here sometime very soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Jessie Murph - Blue Strips: She's finally back on the countdown since Wild Ones in late 2023 and having multiple Hit Bound dropouts since then. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Sip, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal and fun, Jessie's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how far this one goes on there.
Ravyn Lenae - Love Me Not: I've found out that there's also apparently a Rex Orange County remix of this song which I actually haven't listened to yet. And now she's has finally made her first ever countdown appearance on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Ravyn's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly and fun. Let's see how far this goes on there.
Rose - Messy: This was actually one of the songs that was taken from the soundtrack of the new F1 movie, which I'm really looking forward to seeing in theaters when it comes out in June. And this song has now joined Toxic Till The End since it hit the Top 5 on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Toxic Till The End or Lola Young's song of the same title, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Rose's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how this one does on there.
D4vd - Feel It: Yeah I actually figured that it would come back to the countdown since it's trending again recently because it was on some show called Invincible which I've actually never seen before. But still this song does not deserve to come back in there! I'm really hoping that this should do poorly on it's second run in there like it did on it's first run last year.
Sombr - Undressed: The best countdown debut this week. And of course I've also been hearing his other song Back To Friends on Alt Nation recently. And now it's time for him to make his first ever countdown appearance on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song and it's actually a step up from Back To Friends. With my opinion on this song, the production was so heavenly, Sombr's vocals were super heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 10 Songs of the year. Hopefully it'll do super amazing on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Rose - Toxic Till The End: Yeah I actually expected this song to be out of the Top 3. I know it has been blocked from the top spot because of Abracadabra, but I'm sure it's never going to hit the top spot. Though it might drop out of the Top 5 very soon.
4. Ed Sheeran - Azizam: It debuted the Top 5 this week. I'm so pleased to see this song in there. Gosh, he sure has been having a lot of Top 5 songs on there. Now, hopefully this should be in the Top 3 soon.
3. Sabrina Carpenter - Busy Woman: I'm glad to see this song in the Top 3. I actually expected it to be in there because we all know who she is. And I'm sure this is going to end up at the top spot very soon. Hopefully it does.
2. Benson Boone - Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else: It's almost at the top spot! Although I'm not sure if it'll be in there, mainly because of what's going on in there. But hopefully this doesn't get blocked from the top spot as well.
1. Lady Gaga - Abracadabra: Holding the top spot for the 6th week in a row. Gosh, how on Earth has this song been keeping on doing super well on there recently? Nothing can really stop this song from gaining lots and lots of airplay on there as of right now! Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Ed Sheeran - Old Phone
2. Alessi Rose - Same Mouth (DEBUT)
3. The Paradox - Do Me Like That

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Alessi Rose - Same Mouth: After IKYK spent too long on Hit Bound earlier this year, we've now picked up another new single from her on there this week. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as IKYK, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Alessi's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if this should make the countdown soon.
Morgan Wallen/Tate McRae - What I Want: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. So he has dropped his much-anticipated album I'm The Problem yesterday, and now we have one of the songs from it debuting on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, both Morgan and Tate sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Here's to hoping that it should be on the countdown soon.
Rihanna - Friend Of Mine: She's finally back on there since Lift Me Up 3 years ago. And this new song is actually taken from the soundtrack of the new Smurfs movie and I've heard that she's playing as Smurfette in the new movie which was so interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's definitely a step up from Lift Me Up. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Rihanna's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Tyla - Bliss: We've now picked up a new single from her after Push 2 Start didn't do too well on the countdown as it only spent 2 weeks on there a few months ago. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Push 2 Start, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Tyla's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
People R Ugly - DOULOVEME: We finally have a song from them that I like debuting on there this week. I know I've been hating Brain Dead and DUMB back when they were on there since they're bad titles, but as far as this new song goes, it's definitely an outstanding song. With my opinion on this one, the production was so outstanding, Zak Bassi's vocals were super outstanding and so much better, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so amazing. Let's see if this will be on the countdown soon.
Laufey - Tough Luck: It's actually funny because I've heard Hallett just released a post ranking every song from her, and now she has made her Hits 1 debut this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was super amazing, Laufey's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
