#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

The Chainsmokers/Halsey - Closer

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

The All-American Rejects - Sweat (+17) is gaining some airplay on radio charts. What a week for them.
Andy Grammar - Give Love (-16) is now losing airplay and is doing poorly on radio charts. I'm okay with that.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Sabrina Carpenter - Why: Sabrina's vocals shine in this one. This was her first countdown appearance this week. Let's see how this song is doing for her.

Selena Gomez - Fetish: Hits 1 edited out Gucci Mane on this one. But this song was a huge piece of trash. The line "You've got a fetish for my love." sounded absolutely horrible. This is going to be in my Bottom 5 songs of the year. Let's hope this song does poorly on this countdown.

Logic/Alessia Cara/Khalid - 1-800-273-8255: Of course, I don't want this song to be on Hits 1 because it's a rap song, and Hits 1 doesn't like rap music. But Hits 1 decided to let this song be on here because this song was doing well on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This song was catchy. The song title is also the phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Hotline. I really love Khalid’s vocals in this one and I enjoyed Alessia Cara's part. I hope this song does well on this countdown.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Shawn Mendes - There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back: This song is finally dropping. Let's see if it can be out of the Top 5 next week.
4. Demi Lovato - Sorry Not Sorry: This song has dropped out of the Top 3. But can it drop out of the Top 5 next week?
3. Niall Horan - Slow Hands: This song has dropped out of the top spot. But I do want this song to stay in the Top 5 for awhile.
2. Ed Sheeran - Galway Girl: This song has debuted the Top 3 this week. It would be interesting if this song hit #1 on this countdown.
1. Liam Payne - Strip That Down: This song has re-entered the Top 5 this week to the top spot. I was very pleased to see this song be at that spot. Let's see how long it takes for this song to hold the spot.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. The Script - Rain
2. Taylor Swift - ...Ready For It?
3. Fergie/Nicki Minaj - You Already Know
4. Zayn/Sia - Dusk Till Dawn
5. Why Don't We - Something Different
6. Camila Cabello - Havana (DEBUT)
7. PRETTYMUCH - Would You Mind
8. Evaride - Heartless
9. Post Malone/21 Savage - Rockstar (DEBUT)
10. Bebe Rexha/Florida Georgia Line - Meant To Be (DEBUT)
11. Dua Lipa - New Rules
12. Niall Horan - Too Much To Ask
13. Ed Sheeran - Perfect
14. Lauv - I Like Me Better

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Camila Cabello - Havana: Hits 1 edited out Young Thug in this one. This song was BORING! Camila's vocals aren't very good and I don't like the production, either. Hopefully this song should not debut the countdown.

Post Malone/21 Savage - Rockstar: It's a rap song. Hits 1 does not want this song to debut on Hit Bound because Hits 1 doesn't like rap music. Now on to this song, it is garbage. It has a lazy, boring, bland and generic production, awful vocals and terrible lyrical contact. It better not debut the countdown.

Bebe Rexha/Florida Georgia Line - Meant To Be: This is the best Hit Bound debut of the week. Bebe's vocals are outstanding and I do like Florida Georgia Line's part. Let's see if it debuts the countdown next week.
