This week's countdown was so great. We have an annoying exit this week. That's a reason why it is so great. I'm very pleased to see that. And it looks like our Top 5 this week was very awesome. #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Twenty One Pilots - Heathens
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
Charlie Puth - How Long (+17) has now jumped all the way to the Top 20 on this countdown. That was a great week for him.
Logic/Alessia Cara/Khalid - 1-800-273-8255 (-16) is now flopping badly on pop radio charts. Not cool, Hits 1. But I'll just have to deal with it. I hope it jumps back up soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Ed Sheeran - Perfect: It kinda reminds me of Linkin Park - One More Light mainly because of the beginning of this song. And of course, after Galway Girl hits #1 on this countdown, this song now debuts the countdown. I love the production on this one and I love the vocals. Let's see if it can do better than his previous 3 songs currently here.
Fergie/Nicki Minaj - You Already Know: I heard that song a lot on Venus before it debuted Hit Bound. I enjoyed Nicki Minaj's part more than Fergie's. I hope it does well on this countdown.
Evaride - Heartless: It was on Hit Bound for a long time since it's debut on Labor Day weekend. The vocals shine and I love that chorus. I'm not sure if it'll do great on this countdown, but we'll just see how it does here.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Portugal. The Man - Feel It Still: It debuted the Top 5 this week and I'm very pleased to see that song on here. This song is my #1 song of 2017 so far. I would be extremely pleased if I see this song hit #1 on this countdown. It's doing better than the Alt-18 countdown with 12 weeks at the top spot. Let's see if it can hit #1 soon.
4. Liam Payne - Strip That Down: It's almost out of the Top 5. I still want this song to stay there for a little while longer. We'll see how long it can take to stay there.
3. Imagine Dragons - Thunder: It's holding there. I thought it was going to hit #1 this week according to AllAccess. Let's hope it hits #1 next week on this countdown.
2. Demi Lovato - Sorry Not Sorry: Why do we need this song at that spot?! I'm not okay with this song on there. I wouldn't be extremely pleased if it hits #1 here. Let's hope it doesn't.
1. Ed Sheeran - Galway Girl: It's holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. Mainly Hits 1 is a huge fan of him. We'll see how long it takes to hold there.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Lauv - I Like Me Better
2. Harry Styles - Kiwi (DEBUT)
3. Dua Lipa - New Rules
4. Macklemore/Kesha - Good Old Days (DEBUT)
5. X Ambassadors - Ahead Of Myself
6. Liam Payne - Bedroom Floor (DEBUT)
7. Zayn/Sia - Dusk Till Dawn
8. Imagine Dragons - Whatever It Takes (DEBUT)
9. Post Malone/21 Savage - Rockstar
10. Niall Horan - Too Much To Ask
11. Bruno Mars - Chunky
12. The Shadowboxers - Hot Damn (DEBUT)
13. Bebe Rexha/Florida Georgia Line - Meant To Be
14. Nick Jonas - Find You
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Harry Styles - Kiwi: More One Direction this week. This song has amazing vocals. Of course, Two Ghosts isn't doing well on this countdown. But let's see if this song debuts the countdown soon and let's hope it does better than Two Ghosts.
Macklemore/Kesha - Good Old Days: Of course, after this song was doing well on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, it now debuts Hit Bound here. Macklemore nailed it in verses 1 & 2 and I love when Kesha steals the show on the chorus and that last verse. Let's see if it does better than Glorious.
Liam Payne - Bedroom Floor: After Strip That Down hit #1 on this countdown a couple of weeks ago, it's now on here. I love Liam's vocals in this one. If Just Like You debuts Hit Bound next week or so and if Too Much To Ask, Dusk Till Dawn, Kiwi and Bedroom Floor stay on Hit Bound next week or so, every song by every One Direction member is going to be on here. Let's hope it happens next week.
Imagine Dragons - Whatever It Takes: This song debuted here after Thunder hits the Top 5 on this countdown. I think it'll be on Hit Bound for a long time like Thunder did, but let's see if I'm wrong.
The Shadowboxers - Hot Damn: I've never heard of The Shadowboxers before this song. I do love the vocals in this one. I think it might debut the countdown soon. Let's see if it does.
