#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
The Chainsmokers/Halsey - Closer
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
Cheat Codes/Demi Lovato - No Promises (+9) is gaining some airplay on pop radio charts! What a week for them!
Louis Tomlinson/Bebe Rexha/Digital Farm Animals - Back To You (-14) has dropped all the way out of the Top 30 to the bottom 5. Somebody please let this song get out of there and gain some airplay!
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Hailee Steinfeld/Alesso/Florida Georgia Line - Let Me Go: It's a cool EDM song. Hailee's vocals shine pretty much throughout the whole song and I do like Florida Georgia Line's part. I love Alesso's EDM drop in this song. Let's see how this new song is doing for them.
Camila Cabello - Havana: Hits 1 edited out Young Thug in this one. But this song is BORING! I do not like Camila's vocals in this one. It better not do well on this countdown.
Taylor Swift - ...Ready For It?: With the highest debut of the week. That song was just a step up from Look What You Made Me Do. I hope I see some success in this song.
The Script - Rain: This band gets 2 years off, and now they're back. It’s just a step up from Hall Of Fame. The vocals in this song are so awesome. I love the chorus in this one. Let's see how this new song is doing for them.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Shawn Mendes - There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back: Why is it still there? It needs to leave here because it spent a long time in the Top 5. Let's see if it'll leave here next week.
4. Imagine Dragons - Thunder: It debuted the Top 5 this week. I feel like this song was more rhythmic pop. It would be interesting if this song should hit #1 like Believer did for 3 weeks. I better hope it does.
3. Niall Horan - Slow Hands: It's holding there. I think I would like this song to go back at the top spot soon. But we'll see how this one goes.
2. Ed Sheeran - Galway Girl: It's still at that spot. I thought I want this song to hit #1 on this countdown. I hope it hits #1 soon.
1. Liam Payne - Strip That Down: This song holds the #1 spot for the 2nd week in a row. I was so pleased to see that. I hope this song stays there for a while.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Lauv - I Like Me Better
2. Zayn/Sia - Dusk Till Dawn
3. X Ambassadors - Ahead Of Myself (DEBUT)
4. Charlie Puth - How Long (DEBUT)
5. Ed Sheeran - Perfect
6. Post Malone/21 Savage - Rockstar
7. Niall Horan - Too Much To Ask
8. PRETTYMUCH - Would You Mind
9. Bebe Rexha/Florida Georgia Line - Meant To Be
10. Nick Jonas - Find You (DEBUT)
11. Evaride - Heartless
12. Fergie/Nicki Minaj - You Already Know
13. Dua Lipa - New Rules
14. Why Don't We - Something Different
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
X Ambassadors - Ahead Of Myself: I heard that song a lot on Alt Nation. This song was a huge step up from Unsteady. Let's hope this song makes the countdown soon.
Nick Jonas - Find You: It's a cool song. Nick has a really nice voice. He gets a year off, and now he's back. It better be on the countdown sometime next week or so.
Charlie Puth - How Long: The best Hit Bound debut of the week. This song is pretty much Attention 2.0. After Attention was #1 six weeks ago, Hits 1 decided to let this song debut Hit Bound this week. It's going to debut the countdown next week. Let's see if I'm right.
