Ed Sheeran (3) Week Of November 4, 2017
This countdown is not so good. We have two exits this week. #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
The Chainsmokers/Halsey - Closer
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
Ed Sheeran - Perfect (+25) has jumped all the way into the Top 5. That was an awesome week for him.
But unfortunately, for the worst thing that I've ever seen this week, Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do (-24) has dropped all the wat out of the Top 20 from the Top 5. Not cool, Hits 1. So not cool at all! Hopefully it gains more and more airplay soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Niall Horan - Too Much To Ask: Not as good as Slow Hands, but it's still an awesome song. I love Niall's vocals in this song and I love that chorus. Let's hope it does well on this countdown.
Dua Lipa - New Rules: This was her first countdown appearance this week. Back in the early part of the year when Blow Your Mind (Mwah) never got the privilege to be on the weekend countdown, she now has her first song on the countdown. I love Dua's vocals in this one and I do love that chorus where she'll count her new rules. I hope it does well on this countdown.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Ed Sheeran - Perfect: With that biggest jump this week, it debuts the Top 5 here. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a massive hit on this countdown. Now on to this song, my opinion of this song is that it reminds me of Linkin Park - One More Light because of the beginning. It already peaked at One More Light's peak. Let's hope this song becomes a massive hit soon.
4. Demi Lovato - Sorry Not Sorry: Gosh. When will it leave the Top 5? I thought this song is leaving the Top 5 this week. I'm still waiting for this to not hit #1 on this countdown. Let's hope it doesn't.
3. Imagine Dragons - Thunder: It dropped out of the top spot. I still want this to get back at the top anytime soon. But we'll see how this one goes.
2. P!nk - What About Us: It even debuted the Top 5 this week. My opinion of this song is that she has a cool voice. The chorus sounded awesome and I love the production on this one. It would be interesting if I see this song hit #1 on this countdown soon. Let's see if it does.
1. Ed Sheeran - Galway Girl: It's back at the top spot this week for the 3rd time this year. He now has 2 songs in the Top 5. I do want Perfect to become a massive hit soon, but we'll see how long this song should hold the spot.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Liam Payne - Bedroom Floor
2. Taylor Swift - Gorgeous (DEBUT)
3. Post Malone/21 Savage - Rockstar
4. Selena Gomez/Marshmello - Wolves (DEBUT)
5. Imagine Dragons - Whatever It Takes
6. The Shadowboxers - Hot Damn
7. Zayn/Sia - Dusk Till Dawn
8. Bebe Rexha/Florida Georgia Line - Meant To Be
9. Lauv - I Like Me Better
10. Macklemore/Kesha - Good Old Days
11. X Ambassadors - Ahead Of Myself
12. Nick Jonas - Find You
13. Bruno Mars - Chunky
14. Harry Styles - Kiwi
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Taylor Swift - Gorgeous: Of course, after Look What You Made Me Do hit the Top 5 last week, it now debuts Hit Bound here. This song was one of the best songs off of her new album, Reputation. This song does sound a lot like Blank Space. I love her vocals in this one and I love that chorus. I feel like this song might be on Hit Bound for a long time. But let's hope I'm wrong.
Selena Gomez/Marshmello - Wolves: This song is just mediocre. There's nothing interesting about this song. However, my thoughts would change in a few more listens. And if my thoughts change, it'll either change to green or red. Hopefully it's green.
