Now, I'm going to tell you my Lights Over Paris Hit Bound Hero Award of the year. The Lights Over Paris Hit Bound Hero Award is my favorite song on Hit Bound that failed to graduate on the Weekend Countdown. The main reason why they called it the Lights Over Paris Hit Bound Hero Award is because of the very first Hit Bound dropout from 2010 by a band called Lights Over Paris, with their song called Turn Off The Lights, and it made it on to Hit Bound but then it was on there for a very long time and then, it failed to be on the Weekend Countdown and has become the very first Hit Bound dropout. So, I've decided to give this award to:

2017 Lights Over Paris Hit Bound Hero Award:
Carly Rae Jepsen - Cut To The Feeling

Now, I'm going to tell you about the shortest and longest tenured songs of the year. The shortest tenured song has made it on to Hit Bound but it was on there for a long time. The longest tenured song made it on to Hit Bound for an extremely short time. So, here are the songs that have their shortest countdown run and their longest countdown run.

Shortest tenured song on the Weekend Countdown:
G-Eazy/Kehlani - Good Life (1 Week) (Debuted on May 20, 2017; exited on May 27, 2017)

Longest tenured song on the Weekend Countdown:
Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You (49 Weeks) (Debuted on January 13, 2017; still on the countdown)

And the last thing I want to mention is the Biggest Whiff Of The Year Award. That means it's the biggest song on Billboard's Hot 100 Songs of the Year that failed to be on Hits 1. So, here's the song that's the biggest song on Billboard's Hot 100 Songs of the Year that failed to be on Hits 1.

2017 Biggest Whiff Of The Year Award Winner: Kendrick Lamar - HUMBLE.

And there you have it. I hope you enjoy this post. The Top 10 Songs Of 2017 post will be out soon. And don't forget, we have Hits 1's Top 45 of the Year on Saturday. So, please stay tuned for those posts. Once again, I hope you enjoy this post. Hit me with your thoughts and any interesting facts that you have about everything I said in this post.
