#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You (8 of 9 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
As Kesha/The Dap-Kings Horns - Woman (+18) took a big jump into the Top 20, I might see some success out of this song. Let's see if it'll debut the Top 10 soon.
I was very pleased about the big drop out of the Top 20 from Khalid - Young, Dumb, & Broke (-19). Now this song needs to leave the countdown next week and be off the voting list.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Panic! At The Disco - Say Amen (Saturday Night): Not as good as Death Of A Bachelor, but it's still a great song. It's just a step up from L.A. Devotee. The production is awesome, Brendon Urie's vocals are awesome, and I really enjoyed the chorus. Here's to hoping that this song should do well on this countdown.
Demi Lovato - Tell Me You Love Me: She replaced herself after Sorry Not Sorry thankfully left the countdown. Now, on to the song, this song is so much better. The production is very amazing, her vocals sounded so much better, and the chorus also sounded so much better. It better do so much better than Sorry Not Sorry did on the countdown.
Bazzi - Mine: This is Bazzi's first and ever song to debut the countdown this week. Now, on to the song. This song is so catchy. I love the production, the vocals are awesome, and I enjoyed the chorus. What I've also noticed about this song is that this song took less than 2 in a half minutes, which is interesting. I'd hope this song does great on this countdown.
Bad Wolves - Zombie: This version of the song is a cover of the original song by The Cranberries back in 1994. But, I've actually never heard of the Bad Wolves before this song. The vocals are awesome in this one. And of course, because of it's debut in the Top 30, it should do great on this countdown. Let's see if it does.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. G-Eazy/Halsey - Him & I: Wait... why is it holding that spot? Come on, this song needs to jump. Let's see if it'll move up soon.
4. Imagine Dragons - Whatever It Takes: It debuted the Top 5 this week. Now, my opinion on this song is, this is easily their best song for now. I love Dan Reynold's vocals and the chorus is so amazing. Let's hope this song goes to #1 soon.
3. Hailee Steinfeld/Alesso/Florida Georgia Line/Watt - Let Me Go: Why is it still there? Come on, this song has been pretty much hanging into the Top 5. I'm now starting to get sick of this song. Let's see if it'll be out of here soon.
3. Hailee Steinfeld/Alesso/Florida Georgia Line/Watt - Let Me Go: Why is it still there? Come on, this song has been pretty much hanging into the Top 5. I'm now starting to get sick of this song. Let's see if it'll be out of here soon.
2. Walk The Moon - One Foot: How is it holding that spot? This song seriously needs to hit #1 here.I'd hope it does next week.
1. Zedd/Maren Morris/Grey - The Middle: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. WHEN WILL THIS SONG BE OUT OF THAT SPOT???!!! I seriously had enough of this song. I have a feeling that this song is going to be the Shape Of You of 2018. This better not happen.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Drake - God's Plan
2. Echosmith - Over My Head (DEBUT)
3. Rudimental/Jess Glynne/Macklemore/Dan Caplen - These Days
4. Dustin Atlas/Erin Bowman - Fake Friends
5. Why Don't We - Trust Fund Baby (DEBUT)
6. Portugal. The Man - Live In The Moment
7. Alice Merton - No Roots
8. The Chainsmokers - Everybody Hates Me (DEBUT)

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Echosmith - Over My Head: Of course, I enjoyed Cool Kids and Bright back then. And now, their comeback single is so catchy. I love her vocals, and the chorus definitely shines. I have a feeling that this song might be on Hit Bound for a long time because some people don't remember them. But let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Why Don't We - Trust Fund Baby: Not as good as Something Different, but it's still great. The vocals are excellent, I love the lyrics, and I enjoyed the chorus. Let's hope this song is their first countdown appearance since Something Different never graduated last year.
The Chainsmokers - Everybody Hates Me: And of course, after Sick Boy flopped, this song now debuts Hit Bound. I can say that this song is better than Sick Boy. The production is so great, Andrew Taggart's vocals are nice, the lyrics are also nice, and I love the drop in the chorus. Let's hope this song can debut the countdown and let's hope this song does better than Sick Boy.
Kendrick Lamar/SZA - All The Stars: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. This is another song taking from the Black Panther soundtrack. Kendrick Lamar has crushed the verses and SZA sounded absolutely amazing in the chorus. This better debut the countdown.
Maren Morris - Rich: I heard this song a lot on The Highway last year. This song is definitely outstanding. Her vocals sounded so much better than The Middle, and the chorus is very catchy. This song might stay on Hit Bound for a while, but I hope it makes the countdown soon.
