#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You (9th and final week at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
Panic! At The Disco - Say Amen (Saturday Night) (+13) has made a very nice jump this week. Let's see how this song does in the Top 30.
I'm okay with Fall Out Boy - Hold Me Tight Or Don't (-18) taking a big drop out of the Top 30 from the Top 20. I'm starting to get sick of this song. Let's see if it'll keep dropping.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Rudimental/Jess Glynne/Macklemore/Dan Caplen - These Days: This song is just good. It's just not a great song. I still love Dan Caplen's vocals in the verses, and Jess Glynne's vocals shine throughout the whole chorus. But Rudimental's drop is a little weird. I still enjoyed Macklemore's verse. We'll see how this one does on the countdown.
Alice Merton - No Roots: The best countdown debut this week. Now, for my opinion. I heatrd that song a lot on Alt Nation. The production is amazing, Alice's vocals are amazing, the lyrics are amazing, the chorus is amazing, everything on this song is amazing. I hope it does well on this countdown.
My Opinions/My Thopughts On The Top 5:
5. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Want You Back: It debuted the Top 5 this week. Now, my opinion on this song is that this song is so catchy. It's not as good as She Looks So Perfect, but it's still an amazing song. I love the vocals, it has nice lyrics, and the chorus is what I fell in love with. Will this song be their 2nd #1 song on this countdown? We're going to find out and see.
4. Imagine Dragons - Whatever It Takes: This song better not hold there. This seriously needs to jump and be at the top. Let's see if it'll do that next week.
3. Hailee Steinfeld/Alesso/Florida Georgia Line/Watt - Let Me Go: This is it. I'm already starting to get sick of this song. This seriously needs to be out of here. I hope it does next week.
2. Walk The Moon - One Foot: Come on, this song has been holding that spot for weeks. This seriously needs to be at the top soon. It can't hold there. This needs to be at the top next week.
1. Zedd/Maren Morris/Grey - The Middle: Holding the top spot for the 3rd week in a row. WHEN IS IT GOING TO BE OUT OF THAT SPOT???!!! I've had enough of this song holding the top spot. I have a strange feeling that this song is pretty much the Shape Of You of 2018. But it needs to be out of that spot.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Sam Smith/Logic - Pray (DEBUT)
2. Dua Lipa - IDGAF (I Don't Give A Fudge)
3. Hundred Handed - Too Good (DEBUT)
4. Kendrick Lamar/SZA - All The Stars
5. Foster The People - Sit Next To Me
6. Halsey - Alone
7. Dustin Atlas/Erin Bowman - Fake Friends
8. Maren Morris - Rich
9. Post Malone/Ty Dolla $ign - Psycho
10. The Chainsmokers - Everybody Hates Me
11. Echosmith - Over My Head
12. Why Don't We - Trust Fund Baby
13. Portugal. The Man - Live In The Moment
14. Drake - God's Plan
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Sam Smith/Logic - Pray: I thought Hits 1 is going to cut out Logic's verse because Hits 1 is not a fan of rap music. But this song is catchy. It's just a step up from Too Good At Goodbyes. The production here is awesome, Sam's vocals are nice, and I love the lyrics. Hopefully this song can debut the countdown within the next week or so.
Hundred Handed - Too Good: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. This song is so outstanding. I love the production, the vocals shine, and the chorus shines. I have a feeling that this song is staying on Hit Bound for a while because no one has ever heard of them. But we'll see how long it can stay on Hit Bound.

DeleteI’m so glad God’s Plan didn’t debut this week. I was so worried that it would.
ReplyDeleteI know you are, WAMB10. But I wasn’t glad.
