Camila Cabello (1) Week Of May 5, 2018
Of course, a few days ago was Adrian's birthday. Unfortunately, our new #1 song this week is what he hated. I'm sorry that it ruined his birthday week. But for me, we are now in the Golden Ages of the countdown. I don't have anything else to say. So, let's get right to it! #1. Camila Cabello - Never Be The Same (#5) [1st Week At #1]
#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Zedd/Alessia Cara - Stay (1 of 4 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
That big jump back in the Top 10 this week from Panic! At The Disco - Say Amen (Saturday Night) was so amazing. It better hit the Top 5 this week. What's also tied for the biggest jump this week is by seeing Selena Gomez/Marshmello - Wolves (+11) making a pretty good jump this week back in the Top 30. Now, this song needs to jump more. I know this song is close to getting old, but I still like it.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Ariana Grande - No Tears Left To Cry: It's her biggest return on the countdown this week, because it's based on the YouTube critics. I can say that this song isn't as good as Side To Side, but it's still amazing. I really like the production, her vocals are so outstanding, and the chorus is what I fell in love with. It better do very amazing on this countdown.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. The Weeknd/Kendrick Lamar - Pray For Me: It debuted the Top 5 this week. Now, my opinion on this song is that this song is very similar to Starboy. It's not as good as Can't Feel My Face, In The Night, or I Feel It Coming, but it's still a great song. And it's anither song taking from the Black Panther soundtrack. I love the vocals and the chorus, and I enjoyed Kendrick Lamar's verse. Hopefully this song goes to #1 soon.
4. Imagine Dragons - Whatever It Takes: Come on, why would this song hold there? This seriously needs to be at the top next week. But we're going to see if it does or not.
3. Zedd/Maren Morris/Grey - The Middle: How is this song still there? At least it didn't go back to the top spot this week. Now, this song needs to stay out of the top and it needs to get out of here next week.
2. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Want You Back: What?! I thought this song has a chance at #1 this week. But let's see if it does soon.
1. Camila Cabello - Never Be The Same: I was extremely pleased to see this song at the top. This is her second song in a row to hit #1 on this countdown. I did hear the remix of this song with Kane Brown and it was actually really good. But the original version to me is better. It's even going to be in my Top 5 songs of the year this year. This better hold the spot for a long time.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Foster The People - Sit Next To Me
2. Liam Payne/J. Balvin - Familiar
3. Dua Lipa - IDGAF (I Don't Give A F**k)
4. Kendrick Lamar/SZA - All The Stars
5. lovelytheband - Broken (DEBUT)
6. HRVY - Personal
7. Sugarland/Taylor Swift - Babe
8. Hundred Handed - Too Good
9. Echosmith - Over My Head
10. The Wrecks - James Dean (DEBUT)
11. Calvin Harris/Dua Lipa - One Kiss (DEBUT)
12. In Real Life - Tattoo (How 'Bout You)
13. Sam Smith/Logic - Pray
14. Dustin Atlas/Erin Bowman - Fake Friends
15. Maren Morris - Rich
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
lovelytheband - Broken: This is their debut single. I heard that song a lot on Alt Nation. The production is amazing, the vocals are amazing, the lyrics are amazing, the chorus is amazing, everything on this song is amazing. But it should stay on Hit Bound for a long time because no one has ever heard of this band. But it needs to debut the countdown.
The Wrecks - James Dean: It's such a cool rock song to listen to. The instrumentation is great, and I love the vocals in this one. This could even stay on Hit Bound for a long time because I don't think anyone knows them. But we'll see how long it takes to stay on there.
Calvin Harris/Dua Lipa - One Kiss: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. And of course, after both Slide and Feels didn't do great on this countdown last year, he's now back this week. The production is so outstanding, Dua Lipa's vocals are very amazing, and I do enjoy the chorus which leads into the drop. This better debut the countdown anytime soon.

DeleteGreat. I was hoping it should debut this week.
DeleteHere is a good one ATR, if Personal debuts the countdown this week, which I have no opinion about it, ATR would be fine if it debuts.
