AT40: Ariana Grande (2) Week Of November 17, 2018
The American Top 40 this week looks awesome. We did lose another song in the rap/hip hop genre that's in my Bottom 10 songs of the year. I'm so happy about that. Though we did lose a song that's going to be in my Top 5 songs of the year, which is sad. I think that's all I have to say about this one, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 450, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1. Ariana Grande - God Is A Woman (#1) [2nd Week At #1]
#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Portugal. The Man - Feel It Still (2nd and final week at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
Camila Cabello - Consequences has finally made the Top 30 for gaining airplay on the pop radio charts. But Panic! At The Disco - High Hopes (+7) tieing for the biggest rise this week was definitely the best part of this countdown this week.
DJ Khaled/Justin Bieber/Quavo/Chance The Rapper - No Brainer (-25) now has the biggest fall of the century. Though it's not the biggest fall of all time. The biggest fall ever in the history of the American Top 40 was 26 spots. Anyway. I'm not too thrilled about this song dropping all the way to the Bottom 5 from the Top 20.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Loud Luxury/brando - Body: It's just a decent song. I pretty much already explained why this song was decent when it debuted the countdown last month. I've heard this song quite a few times on Venus and it is just decent. I like brando's vocals in this one, but the song itself is just repetitive and not memorable. Let's see how this one does here.
Post Malone/Swae Lee - Sunflower: Seriously? This is an awful song. The production is so generic, Post Malone's vocals are awful, and Swae Lee does not sound good in his verse. I'm really hoping this one does not become a hit, because I really had it with his music.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Maroon 5/Cardi B. - Girls Like You: It re-entered the Top 5 this week. I'm actually okay with this song back in here.
4. Marshmello/Bastille - Happier: It debuted the Top 5 this week. Since it's been successful on the Hits 1 Weekend Countdown, this is now going to become a hit. Now, back to my opinion. The production in this one was pretty good, Dan Smith's vocals are awesome, and I love the drop in the chorus. Let's see if this should hit #1 like it did on the Hits 1 Weekend Countdown.
3. Khalid/Normani - Love Lies: I somehow still want this song to stay at that spot. But let's see if it'll stay in the Top 3 for a little while longer.
2. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Youngblood: It's still at that spot. I still want this song to stay in the Top 3. Let's see how long it can stay there.
1. Ariana Grande - God Is A Woman: I'm glad that it's still at the top. Let's see if it could stay at the top even more.
Now, here are the songs they played for Breakouts/On The Verge:
Dean Lewis - Be Alright
Khalid - Better
Alessia Cara - Trust My Lonely
And here are the songs they played as Extras/Optional Extras:
Weezer - Africa
Lukas Graham - 7 Years
Sam Smith - Too Good At Goodbyes
The Weeknd/Kendrick Lamar - Pray For Me
Sabrina Carpenter - Almost Love
Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass
Charlie Puth - The Way I Am
Jason Derulo/David Guetta/Nicki Minaj/Willy William - Goodbye
