AT40: Lizzo (2) Week Of October 12, 2019
Hey. I apologized about the long delay. I've been super busy with school lately. So I'll try and catch up on my newer posts. So anyway. There's nothing much to say about this one. Our exits this week aren't that good. Two of them are in my Top 10 songs of this year, and they will forever be missed. Although we still have a decent #1 song, which was okay. This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so pleased to see Camila Cabello - Shameless (+4) in the Top 30. What a week for her! Now, let's see if it'll be in the Top 20 soon.
Jonas Brothers - Sucker (-6) has finally dropped out of the Top 20. I know it's been on here for a long time. But I feel like this might be the end of it.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Ariana Grande/Miley Cyrus/Lana Del Rey - Don't Call Me Angel: This was one of the songs taking from the Charlie's Angels movie. And of course, this was absolutely her best song ever. Now, on to my opinion. The production in this one sounded amazing, their vocals all sounded heaven, and that chorus was absolutely heaven. Let's see if this one does great on here.
Lil Tecca - Ran$om: I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but this song was grating. The production in this one sounded grating, his vocals sounded absolutely grating, and the lyrics are definitely a huge piece of trash. This is going to be in my Bottom 3 songs of this year. I really hope this one doesn't do well on here.
Maroon 5 - Memories: I've already explained my opinion last week when it debuted the countdown. This was such an amazing song. The production in this one sounded spectacular, Adam's vocals sounded amazing, the lyrics are what I'm a fan of, and that chorus sounded amazing. Let's see if this should do great on here.
Lizzo - Good As Hell: This song was released all the way back in 2016. That was 3 years late that it actually made it on here. It would've been on here at the time. Now, this song was definitely amazing. It's way better than her other songs. The production in this one sounded absolutely amazing, Lizzo's vocals sounded so much better, and the chorus sounded remarkable. Let's see if this one does great on here.
Halsey - Graveyard: This was definitely the best song off of the album. It's definitely a heaven song. It's a huge step up from Nightmare. The production in this one sounded amazing, her vocals sounded pretty heaven, the lyrics are amazing, and that chorus sounded heaven. Let's see if this one does amazing on here.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Ed Sheeran/Justin Bieber - I Don't Care: It finally dropped out of the Top 3. I didn't actually expect that to happen. because I know it's been in the Top 3 for a long time.
4. Post Malone/Young Thug - Goodbyes: Oh no! I don't really want it to be in the Top 3. This better be out of here soon.
3. Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved: I'm glad that it made it to the Top 3. Now, hopefully it could go to the top spot soon.
2. Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - Senorita: I'm glad that it's still in the Top 3. But I don't think it's going to be back at the top spot, but let's see what happens.
1. Lizzo - Truth Hurts: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm actually okay with this song still on here. But let's see how long it can stay in there even more.
