So it is now officially a brand new decade! I was really hoping to see what's trending with new music. I'm sure hoping for some amazing songs. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, our exits this week look great. We got rid of two crappy songs on here, which was amazing. That's all I have to say about this one,. so let's get to it! I'm not too thrilled about Arizona Zervas - Roxanne (+12) jumping all the way to the Top 20. I'm just not a fan of this song.

I'm also not too thrilled about Ed Sheeran/Khalid - Beautiful People (-6) having the biggest drop this week. But hopefully it should move back to the Top 10 soon.

 

New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:

 

BTS/Lauv - Make It Right: That was definitely an amazing song. Now, on to my opinion. The production in this one sounded amazing, the vocals in this one are absolutely phenomenal, Lauv's vocals sounded super amazing in his contribution, and that chorus sounded really amazing. Let's see if it'll do amazing on here.

 

Harry Styles - Adore You: The best entrant this week. This is also an amazing song. It's definitely a step up from Lights Up and Watermelon Sugar. The production in this one sounded phenomenal, Harry's vocals sounded absolutely amazing, the lyrics are remarkable, and that chorus sounded heaven. Hopefully this becomes a big hit on here.

 

Billie Eilish - Everything I Wanted: This song is also decent. Not as decent as All The Good Girls Go To Hell, but it is still decent. The production sounded decent, Billie's vocals sounded decent, the lyrics are decent, the chorus was decent, everything on this song was decent. Let's see how this one does on here.

 

The Weeknd - Heartless: What an outstanding song. The last song we heard from them was with Gesaffelstein in Lost In The Fire from last year. And now, they're back. Now, on to the song. The production sounded outstanding, the vocals are absolutely outstanding, and the chorus in this one sounded outstanding. Let's see how this one does.

 

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

 

5. Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved: I'm sure this song is going to be out of here soon. Though it did had a nice run on here.

4. Maroon 5 - Memories: It debuted the Top 5 this week. I'm so glad about that. Now, hopefully it should be at the top spot soon.

3. Selena Gomez - Lose You To Love Me: It also debuted the Top 5 this week. I'm so pleased to see that. Hopefully we should see it at the top spot very soon.

2. Post Malone - Circles: Can we please get this song out of the Top 3? I don't really want this song to stay in there. This needs to be out of here soon.

1. Lizzo - Good As Hell: Holding the top spot for the 5th week in a row. That's interesting that it's still in the top spot when the new decade is here. I'm not sure if it'll still be at the top next week, but let's see.

I hope everyone's been having a great Labor Day weekend! I sure am having a great one. I actually can't wait to start my 3rd year of college on Tuesday. Hopefully I'll do amazing! Anyway.
