AT40: Dua Lipa (2) Week Of March 21, 2020
Not only did they close down schools, but they even closed down restaurants, and some other places this past Monday because of the coronavirus. And I'm so mad about that. So if you wanted something from that restaurant, they're doing carry-out and drive thru's only. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, things are looking interesting here. So, let's get to it! #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Benny Blanco/Halsey/Khalid - Eastside (3rd and final week at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm fine with Roddy Ricch - The Box (+6) having the biggest jump to the Top 30 this week. Now let's see if it'll be in the Top 20 soon.
Looks like Jonas Brothers - Only Human (-4) is officially on it's way out of here. Though it did had a nice run there.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
BROCKHAMPTON - SUGAR: I've already gone over my opinion on this song a couple weeks ago back when it debuted Hit Bound. It's such an amazing song. The production sounded amazing, the vocals in this one are so phenomenal, and the chorus sounded super amazing. Here's to hoping that it should become a hit on there.
SZA/Justin Timberlake - The Other Side: They have officially made it back on there. Now, this was such a phenomenal song. The production in this one sounded phenomenal, SZA's vocals sounded absolutely heaven, and Justin's vocals also sounded heaven in his contribution, and that chorus was so phenomenal. Hopefully this one does amazing on there.
Lady Gaga - Stupid Love: The best entrant this week. This was absolutely a heaven song and it's definitely a huge step up from Shallow. The production in this one sounded amazing, Gaga's vocals sounded phenomenal, and wow that chorus was extremely heaven and definitely what I stand for. This is going to end up in my Top 10 songs of the year. Hopefully this become a massive hit on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. The Weeknd - Heartless: I'm still waiting for this song to jump and get to the Top 3. I'm hoping within the next couple weeks or so.
4. Blackbear - Hot Girl Bummer: I'm actually fine with this song remaining here. But I think that next week it's going to be in the Top 3, but we're gonna have to see.
3. Post Malone - Circles: It's finally dropping! Now, this better be out of the Top 3 next week and out of the Top 5 the week after that.
2. Arizona Zervas - Roxanne: Oh no... I don't really want to see this song at the top spot. Again, I don't hate this song, but I just don't like it.
1. Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. Now hopefully it'll block Roxanne from the top spot.
