#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Ariana Grande - 7 Rings (4 of 5 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm fine with Roddy Ricch - The Box (+4) with the biggest jump this week into the Top 20. It's just a decent song for me.
I'm not too thrilled about Selena Gomez - Rare (-7) out of the Top 20. Though I do have a feeling that this might be the end of it.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Noah Cyrus/Leon Bridges - July: I know a lot of you say that I do not like her music at all. But she's getting a little better with her voice. Though this song was just decent. Noah's vocals sounded a little better in her other songs, but not quite great. But the production sounded awesome and Leon actually made a great contribution here. Though the chorus sounded decent in this one. So yeah, overall it's just a decent song. Let's see how this one does.
Meghan Trainor/Nicki Minaj - Nice To Meet Ya: It's such an outstanding song and it's actually better than Niall's version. Now, on to the song. The production in this one sounded spectacular, Meghan's vocals are amazing, the chorus was definitely what I fell in love with, and Nicki has nailed her verse. Hopefully this one does better than the other version.
The Weeknd - In Your Eyes: Since Blinding Lights is doing so well on here, this song has now made it's debut here. Now, this was such an amazing song. Though definitely not as good as Blinding Lights, but it's still amazing. The production is what I really enjoyed, those vocals shine throughout the entire song, the lyrics are marvelous, and that chorus sounded absolutely amazing. Let's see if this should also become a hit on here.
Dua Lipa - Break My Heart: The best entrant this week. This is also another amazing song for me to listen to. It's definitely a huge step up from Don't Start Now. The production in this one was super amazing, Dua's vocals sounded phenomenal, the lyrics are very well-written, and that chorus was definitely what I really enjoyed. Hopefully this one does amazing on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Billie Eilish - Everything I Wanted: I'm okay with this song still in this spot. Though I'll still give credit to this song if it goes to the Top 3 soon. Let's see if it'll happen.
4. Blackbear - Hot Girl Bummer: I'm fine with this song being out of the Top 3. Though it might come back there anytime soon.
3. The Weeknd - Blinding Lights: I'm so pleased that it's in the Top 3! Now, I'm sure hoping that it should be at the top spot within the next week or so. I'm sure hoping that it happens.
2. Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now: It dropped out of the top spot. Though it did had an amazing run on here. Though I don't think it's ever coming back to that spot.
1. Harry Styles - Adore You: Wow, I was actually spot on with my thought. Anyway I'm so glad to see this song at the top spot. I do have a feeling that it might stay in there for a while, but let's see how long it can hold the spot.
