AT40: Post Malone (7) Week Of March 7, 2020
So March is now officially upon us! As far as the countdown goes, it looks okay. We did get rid of another horrible song on here, which was so nice for me. This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm fine with Jusatin Bieber/Quavo - Intentions (+12) with the biggest jump this week into the Top 30. Now let's see if it'll be in the Top 20. If it is, I'll be okay.
Dan + Shay/Justin Bieber - 10,000 Hours (-5) is officially on it's way out of here. Though I do feel like this is going to be the end of it.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Doja Cat - Say So: I've gone over my opinion on this song back when it debuted the countdown a couple months ago. It's such a decent song. There isn't really interesting about this one. Doja's voice sounded decent in this one and the lyrics are okay. But the production and the chorus in this one actually sounded pretty good. But overall, it's decent. Let's see how this one does.
Roddy Ricch - The Box: This song actually hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a while. Now, this song was also decent. I'm not really huge on his voice in this one, but I really love the production on here. Though the lyrics aren't really interesting to me. So yeah, it's just another decent song for me. I'll be fine if it does well on here.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Selena Gomez - Lose You To Love Me: I'm not expecting this song to drop. I would like to see it back in the Top 3, but I don't think it's going to happen.
4. Arizona Zervas - Roxanne: Oh boy... please don't let this song be in the Top 3. It's just not a good song for me.
3. Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now: I'm still waiting for this song to be at the top spot. Though hopefully it'll be in there within the next week or so.
2. Maroon 5 - Memories: I'm still good with this song still at that spot, but I don't think it's going to come back to the top spot.
1. Post Malone - Circles: WHY IS IT STILL THERE?????!!!!! I had enough of hearing this song and his music!!! We seriously need a better #1 song on here next week. That song was definitely not the definition I wanted.
