Harry Styles (7) Week Of March 28, 2020

Things are looking so interesting on this countdown. We had a lot of exits this week which was very surprising. Though one of them was a piece of trash, which I'm so pleased to see. But other than that, that's the only thing I could say that's interesting on here, and I don't have anything else to say about this one. So, let's get to it! #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Jonas Brothers - Sucker (1 of 13 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see Conan Gray - Maniac and Camila Cabello - My Oh My (+6) gaining some airplay on the pop radio charts. What a week for them!

The big drops from Selena Gomez - Rare and Fall Out Boy - Bob Dylan (-7) is definitely not what I was expected. I'm sure hoping they'll move back up.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Powfu/beabadoobee - Death Bed (Coffee For Your Head): I don't understand anything about this song, but my god this song is completely a piece of trash. Now, I heard this song before on Alt Nation and it is insanely awful. The production in this one is insanely awful, and Powfu's rapping sounded egregious. And I really cannot stand those backup vocals in the chorus and in the entire song! This is definitely going to be in my Bottom 10 Songs of the year. I'm hoping it does poorly on here, because I don't really want to here this song anymore. NEXT!

Ashe - Moral Of The Story: Now back when I first listened to this song, I figured that she's yet to be another talented singer. And now, here she is making her first countdown appearance this week. Now, this song was such an amazing song. The production in this one sounded absolutely amazing, Ashe's vocals sounded absolutely phenomenal, and that chorus was definitely what i fell in love with. Hopefully this one does amazing on here.

Kelsea Ballerini/Halsey - The Other Girl: I heard this song a lot on The Highway. This was definitely an amazing country-pop song. Though it's not even close to a country song, because I actually see a lot of pop elements in this song. Now, on to the song. The production sounded so amazing, Kelsea's vocals sounded remarkable, Halsey's vocals sounded heaven in her contribution, and I really enjoyed the chorus. Hopefully this one does amazing and does better than the Highway Hot 30.

Surfaces - Sunday Best: I really have no idea what's wrong with this song, but this song is also garbage. I don't know why it's their first countdown appearance this week. This does not deserve to be on here. Now, on to the song. The production in this one sounded super weird and I really hate their vocals. And that chorus in this one sounded awful. This better do poorly on here.

SZA/Justin Timberlake - The Other Side: The best countdown entrant this week. They are finally back on the countdown. Now, this was such an phenomenal song. From my opinion, the production sounded phenomenal, SZA's vocals sounded heaven, Justin's vocals also sounded heaven in his contribution, and that chorus definitely sounded phenomenal. Hopefully this one does phenomenal on here.

Harry Styles - Watermelon Sugar: It re-entered the countdown this week after a 3-month wait. Hopefully this has another chance to do amazing on here.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Jonas Brothers - What A Man Gotta Do: I don't really want to see this song drop. I'd like it to stay in there and let it be back in the Top 3.

4. Blackbear - Hot Girl Bummer: It's almost in the Top 3. Though if it goes in there, I'll be fine, because it's just a decent song.

3. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Teeth: I really have no idea why it's still in there. This seriously needs to leave here and out of the Top 5 next week.

2. Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now: I was still waiting for this song to be at the top spot. Though I don't think it's ever going to be at the top spot because of our current #1 song, but let's see what happens.

1. Harry Styles - Adore You: Holding the top spot for the 7th week in a row. It's already halfway there from tying the record. This only needs 6 more weeks until this happens.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Pink Sweat$ - 17

2. Benee/Gus Dapperton - Supalonely (DEBUT)

3. Black Eyed Peas/J. Balvin - RITMO (Bad Boys For Life)

4. Khalid/Disclosure - Know Your Worth

5. Meghan Trainor/Nicki Minaj - Nice To Meet Ya

6. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Old Me

7. Niall Horan - Small Talk (DEBUT)

8. BROCKHAMPTON - SUGAR

9. Sam Smith - To Die For

10. The Weeknd - In Your Eyes (DEBUT)

11. Tones And I - Bad Child (DEBUT)

12. Alec Benjamin - Oh My God

13. The Chainsmokers/Blink-182 - P.S. I Hope You're Happy

14. Trevor Daniel - Falling (RE-ENTRY)

15. Monsta X - You Can't Hold My Heart

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Benee/Gus Dapperton - Supalonely: This song has actually came from TikTok, which was interesting. Now, this was such an outstanding song. The production in this one was so fun, Benee's vocals sounded spectacular, Gus's vocals sounded awesome in his contribution, and that chorus in this one sounded outstanding. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Niall Horan - Small Talk: Since No Judgement is doing so well on the countdown, this song now debuts on here. Now, this was such a remarkable song. Not as good as No Judgement, but it's still remarkable. The production in this one was so nice, Niall's vocals sounded remarkable, I really love the lyrics, and the chorus sounded remarkable. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

The Weeknd - In Your Eyes: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. Now, this was such an amazing song. Not as good as Blinding Lights, but it's still amazing. I really enjoyed the production on this one, the vocals shine throughout the entire song, the lyrics are marvelous, and that chorus sounded amazing. I'm sure it'll be on the countdown when Blinding Lights goes to the top spot. Hopefully this happens soon.

Tones And I - Bad Child: Wow, Hits 1. You've gone way too far on picking up another song from her. Though this song wasn't as bad as Dance Monkey, but it's still awful. Like I cannot stand her obnoxious voice at all. Though the production doesn't sound bad like it did in Dance Monkey, but it still doesn't sound good. I'm sure hoping this doesn't debut the countdown.

Trevor Daniel - Falling: It left the countdown this week and re-entered Hit Bound. I have no idea why it just had to do that. I'm sure hoping this should be back on the countdown soon.
