Harry Styles (1) Week Of June 27, 2020

Things are looking so interesting on there. You see, we have another brand new #1 song this week. Gosh, this was actually the 4th week in a row that we have a brand new #1 song on there. Again, it's so nice to see something new at the top spot. Other than that, I have nothing else to say about this one, so let's get to it! The Morning Mash Up (Nicole, Ryan, Stanley T) guest-hosted the countdown this week. And I betcha there was some talking during the countdown. Doja Cat/Gucci Mane - Like That and Megan Thee Stallion - Savage (+10) both had the biggest jump this week. I'm actually fine with the first one, but I'm so glad that the other one had it.

I'm not too thrilled to see Conan Gray - Maniac and Lewis Capaldi - Before You Go (-10) being tied for the biggest drop this week. This does not deserve that!

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Pink Sweat$ - 17: This is just a mediocre song. There's nothing really interesting about this song. The production in this one sounded fine and his vocals sounded okay. But I'm not a fan of the lyrics. They really are a huge mess. But other than that, the chorus is just mediocre. So yeah, overall it's meh. I'd be okay if this one does well on there, but I don't think it's going to happen.

Ashe/Niall Horan - Moral Of The Story: It has re-entered the countdown but with the Niall remix debuting on there. For some reason, Hits 1 thought it would be better to have Niall in it. And now, it's probably going to become a big hit on there because of him. Now, this remix is actually on the same level as the original one. Niall's vocals in this one sounded so amazing in this one. He really has made a great contribution on there. Now, let's see if this one becomes a big hit on there.

DaBaby/Roddy Ricch - Rockstar: This is another decent song. There isn't really interesting about this song. Although the production sounded so great, but DaBaby's vocals don't actually sound that good, and again I'm not really huge on Roddy's vocals. Though I am still giving credit to the chorus. But overall, it's just a decent song. Let's see how this one does.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Old Me: It dropped out of the top spot. Though it did had a nice run in there last week. Though let's see if it'll be back in the top spot or not.

4. Dua Lipa - Break My Heart: Gosh, how is this song still not in the Top 3? I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for this song to be in there. Hopefully next week it'll be in the Top 3.

3. Niall Horan - No Judgement: Thank goodness it's still in the Top 3. I thought that it was actually going to be leaving the Top 3. But I'm glad it didn't.

2. Alesso/Liam Payne - Midnight: It debuted the Top 5 this week. I'm so glad that it managed to be in there. Now, hopefully it'll be at the top spot soon.

1. Harry Styles - Watermelon Sugar: I'm super glad to see this song at the top. I didn't actually expect that to happen but it did! Now, let's see how long it could hold the spot.

Black Eyed Peas/Ozuna/J. Rey Soul - Mamacita: Can we please stop with all those songs debuting the countdown and then debuting on Hit Bound the next week? I'm getting so tired of seeing this. But I'm actually still okay with this song in there, because it's just a decent song.

Kygo/OneRepublic - Lose Somebody: The best Hit Bound entrant this week and this is the only great debut we have this week. I'm pleased that he made his return on there. He's definitely a super talented EDM producer to me. Now, as far as this new song goes, it's definitely amazing. The production in this one sounded so amazing, Ryan's vocals are so phenomenal, the chorus in this one was so amazing, and I stand for the drop. So yeah, overall it's an amazing song to listen to. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.

Cyn - Drinks: This is just a mediocre song. I really have no idea what's going on with this one, because there's nothing really interesting to say. The production is actually a little bit underwhelming. But her vocals actually sounded solid and the lyrics are what I'm still giving credit to. Though the chorus in this one sounded meh. So yeah, it's just a mediocre song overall. I'll be okay if it debuts the countdown soon.
