Ashe (4) Week Of September 12, 2020
So I've started school on Tuesday. And I'm a senior in high school. I thought that I was doing so well on my first week, especially in online classes. Although it does suck to do school virtual, but I think I'm still doing pretty good! Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought it looks good. We do have some interesting debuts this week which I'll get to later. But other than that, I feel like that's all I have to say here, so let's get to it! #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
5 Seconds Of Summer - Easier (1 of 3 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm fine with DaBaby/Roddy Ricch - Rockstar (+9) in the Top 10. Now, I wouldn't mind seeing this song in the Top 5 soon. Let's see if it'll happen.
Conan Gray - Heather and Doja Cat/Gucci Mane - Like That (-7) were tied for the biggest drop this week. I'm not that surprised about the first one, but I'm okay with the other.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Joel Corry/MNEK - Head And Heart: Wow, another new EDM producer making his debut on there? That's so interesting. And I've noticed that this song is actually popular in the UK, which I found interesting. Now, this is such an amazing song. For my opinion, the production sounded so outstanding, MNEK's vocals were super amazing, the chorus was so phenomenal, and I really enjoyed the drop. Let's see how far this one goes on there.
Morgan Wallen - 7 Summers: He has finally made his first countdown appearance this week. Now, this is such an outstanding song. I've been hearing this song a lot on The Highway. Now, on to my opinion. The production sounded super outstanding, Morgan's vocals sounded amazing, the lyrics are very interesting, and the chorus is so outstanding. I'm sure hoping this should do better than The Highway Hot 30 on there. But let's see how this one does.
Surf Mesa/Emilee - ILY: I really have no idea why we have this song, but my gosh this song is so horrible. And they actually took the Death Bed (Coffee For Your Head) formula, where they took a few lines and then repeated them over and over and over and over and over again ALL THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SONG!!!!!!!!!! And that actually gets super annoying. The production is so egregious, Surf Mesa's vocals are so bad, but not as bad as Powfu, but he still sounds so bad. And I absolutely cannot stand that chorus. This is going to be in my Bottom 10 Songs of the year just like Death Bed (Coffee For Your Head) was, but I think it might rank lower than that, because I feel like Death Bed (Coffee For Your Head) is worse than this song. This better do poorly on there.
Blackpink/Selena Gomez - Ice Cream: The best countdown debut this week. We finally have another new K-Pop band making their debut on there. Now, this is absolutely an amazing song. The production sounded phenomenal, the vocals were super amazing, Selena's vocals were super phenomenal in her contribution, and the chorus is what I fell in love with. Hopefully this should become a massive hit on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Jawsh 685/Jason Derulo - Savage Love: Can we please not let this song drop? Although I do feel like this song might not go to the Top 3.
4. Gabby Barrett/Charlie Puth - I Hope: Oh boy... I don't really want this song to drop. I really would like this song to get back in the Top 3. But I'm sure it'll be back in there next week.
3. Juice WRLD/Marshmello - Come And Go: I'm super glad to see this song debuting the Top 5 and into the Top 3. Now, can this be his first #1 song on there? We're gonna have to find out.
2. Ava Max - Kings & Queens: It's almost at the top spot! Now, I'm sure hoping that this song should be her first #1 song on there since Sweet But Psycho didn't, because it's such a pretty heavenly song. Hopefully it'll be at the top spot very soon.
1. Ashe/Niall Horan - Moral Of The Story: Holding the top spot for the 4th week in a row. Wow, how on earth is this song so popular on there? Though I'm so pleased to see this song still in there, although I do prefer a different song for the top spot. But let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Avenue Beat - F2020

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
All Time Low/Blackbear - Monsters: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. This is definitely an extremely heavenly song and it's definitely their best song ever. Now, on to the song. The production was extremely heavenly, the vocals are extremely heavenly, Blackbear's vocals were definitely way better than his other songs, the chorus was extremely heavenly, everything on this song was extremely heavenly. This could end up as my #1 song of the year when it debuts the countdown. I'm sure hoping it'll be on the countdown soon.
Ashe - Save Myself: Since Moral Of The Story was doing super amazing on the countdown, this song now makes it's debut on there. Now, this is such an amazing song. Not as good as Moral Of The Story, but it's still amazing. The production is so amazing, Ashe's vocals are so phenomenal, those lyrics are very nicely-written, and that chorus is absolutely amazing. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Niall Horan - Black And White: Wow, I actually didn't expect this song to come back on here. But I'm glad to see that. Now, let's see if this should have another chance to be on the countdown. But I'm not sure if it's going to, but I'm sure hoping so.
Machine Gun Kelly/Blackbear - My Ex's Best Friend: It's been a long while since we last heard from him. And now, he is back. Now, this is definitely a phenomenal song. The production sounded super phenomenal, MGK's vocals are absolutely amazing, Blackbear's verse was super amazing, and the chorus is definitely what I stand for. But yeah, rock should be Blackbear's genre, because he sounded so much better in this type of music. Now, I'm sure this song is going to debut the countdown very soon. Let's see if it'll happen.
Marshmello/Demi Lovato - OK Not To Be OK: This is also another phenomenal song. Though definitely not as good as Be Kind, but it's still phenomenal. Now, for my opinion, the production sounded so amazing, Demi's vocals sounded absolutely phenomenal, I really love those lyrics, the chorus was pretty phenomenal, and I fell in love with that drop. Now, I'm sure hoping that this should be on the countdown soon.
