#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Niall Horan - Nice To Meet Ya (2 of 8 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
Wow, Billie Eilish - Therefore I Am (+18) had the biggest jump this week and debuted the Top 5? I actually didn't expect that to happen!
AJR - Bang! (-10) is about to be out of here. Though we do have another new single from them so it's always nice to see something new.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Royal & The Serpent - Overwhelmed: This is actually another decent song. I'm not sure what to say about this one, because there's nothing here that's really interesting to say about this one. The production here is a little underwhelming, though the vocals sounded fine and the chorus here sounded okay. So yeah, decent song overall. Let's see how far this one goes. Though I'm not sure if it's actually gonna do so well on there.
Iann Dior - Holding On: This song is now joining Mood, but this is actually his first song on here as a solo artist. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely an outstanding song. Now, for my opinion, the production in this one was super outstanding, Iann's vocals were so amazing, the lyrics here are super nicely-written, and the chorus sounded so amazing. Let's see how far this one goes.
Shawn Mendes/Justin Bieber - Monster: The best countdown debut this week. Since Wonder has hit #1 on there, this song has now made it's debut on there. Now, it's definitely an amazing song and definitely a step up from Wonder. Now, on to the song. The production in this one sounded so outstanding, Shawn's vocals were so amazing, Justin's vocals were also so amazing in his contribution, those lyrics were so interesting, and that chorus was super amazing. Now, hopefully this song should become a big hit on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Ariana Grande - Positions: I'm super pleased to see this song in the Top 5! Now, I'm sure hoping that this should be in the Top 3 very soon.
4. Billie Eilish - Therefore I Am: Thanks to it's biggest jump this week, it made it's debut in the Top 5 this week. Though I'm actually fine to see that. Now, let's see if it'll be in the Top 3 soon.
3. Shawn Mendes - Wonder: It dropped out of the top spot. Though it did had an outstanding run there. Though let's see if it'll come back to that spot or not.
2. Dua Lipa/DaBaby - Levitating: I'm still waiting for this song to be at the top spot. Though I'm not sure if it's actually going to happen, but let's see if it'll be in there soon.
1. Harry Styles - Golden: Gosh, what has he been doing with music on here this year? This has really been the biggest year for music in his career. I'm so pleased to see this song at the top spot. Now, let's see how long it could hold the spot.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. MAX/Suga - Blueberry Eyes
2. Foushee - Deep End (DEBUT)
3. Rosie - Never The 1
4. Shaylen - Goodbye
5. The Kid Laroi - So Done (DEBUT)
6. Sigala/James Arthur - Lasting Lover (RE-ENTRY)
7. Taylor Swift - Willow (DEBUT)
8. Malia Civetz - Broke Boy
9. Dixie D'Amelio/Wiz Khalifa - One Whole Day (DEBUT)
10. Fletcher/Kito - Bitter
11. Clinton Kane - Fix It To Break It
12. Tones And I - Fly Away
13. Maluma/The Weeknd - Hawai
14. Ariana Grande - 34 + 35
15. Chris Brown/Young Thug - Go Crazy
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Foushee - Deep End: I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but this song is absolutely garbage. I know there's actually been a song on the Hot 100 called Deep End Freestyle by Sleepy Hallow a few months ago, and it's basically the original version of that song and it's definitely not good. Now, on to the song. The production here is so bland, her voice does not sound good at all, and that chorus is so bad. So yeah, not a fan of this. This better not be on the countdown. NEXT!
The Kid Laroi - So Done: This is absolutely another decent song. There isn't really anything here that's interesting to say about this song. Now, as for my opinion, the production here actually sounded great and the chorus here sounded awesome. But I'm not really huge on this guy's vocals. Though I do love those lyrics. I think they're still great. But it's decent overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Sigala/James Arthur - Lasting Lover: It re-entered Hit Bound this week. Though I'm actually okay with this song being back on there. Now, let's see if it'll have another chance to be on the countdown soon.
Taylor Swift - Willow: Wow, she actually released a new album a couple days ago and this is the lead single from it. As for this song, it's definitely amazing and this is definitely a step up from Cardigan. Now, for my opinion, the production here sounded super amazing, Taylor's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics are super amazing, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Hopefully it should debut the countdown within the next week or so.
Dixie D'Amelio/Wiz Khalifa - One Whole Day: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. She actually replaces herself this week. For this new song, it is definitely phenomenal and it's definitely a step up from Be Happy. The production here was so phenomenal, Dixie's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics here are super amazing, the chorus sounded so heavenly, and Wiz has nailed his verse. So yeah, overall it's such a phenomenal song. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
