All Time Low (3) Week Of January 16, 2021

So the closures of restaurants and schools got extended to February 1, which I'm so mad to see on the news this past week. I don't really want to wait until they're back open. Also, the Grammys has been delayed until March. You know, I was actually looking forward to see the performances but I'm also bummed that it got delayed. I guess we're gonna have to wait another two months. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, it definitely looks extremely heavenly. We are now back in the Golden Ages of the countdown because of our #1 song. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Niall Horan - Nice To Meet Ya (7 of 8 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see Ed Sheeran - Afterglow (+8) taking the biggest jump this week. What a week for him! Now, let's see if it'll be in the Top 20 soon.

Sam Smith - Diamonds, Shawn Mendes - Wonder and Harry Styles - Golden (-3) were all tied for the shortest biggest drop of the week this year. At least they're all still in the Top 10, so that's still good.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Justin Bieber - Anyone: This is absolutely another outstanding song and it's definitely a step up from Lonely. Now, I've gone through my opinion on this one a couple weeks ago back when it debuted Hit Bound. The production here was so awesome, Justin's vocals were absolutely outstanding, the lyrics here are super nice, and that chorus was so amazing. Let's see how far this one goes.

Chris Brown/Young Thug - Go Crazy: It re-entered the countdown this week because of how well it's doing on the pop radio charts. I'm ok to see that though. I'll still give credit to it. Now, let's see how far this one gets in it's second run.

Harry Styles - Treat People With Kindness: The best countdown debut this week. Now, since Golden has done so amazing on there, this song now debuts the countdown. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. The production here is super phenomenal, Harry's vocals were absolutely heavenly, the lyrics are definitely what I'm a fan  of, and that chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should become a big hit on there.

Olivia Rodrigo - Driver's License: I've actually known her before this song because I know she has been making songs that were associated with Disney musicals and she was on High School Musical at the time. And now, here she is making her debut on here. As far as the song goes, it is definitely an amazing song. Now, for my opinion, the piano here sounded so amazing, Olivia's vocals were absolutely phenomenal, the lyrics here are very nicely-written, and the chorus was super amazing. Let's see how this one does on there.

Ariana Grande - 34 + 35: Since Positions is doing so great on there, this song has now made it's debut on there. And I've actually found the title so interesting that makes me wanna do the math. And of course, I know the answer to the title was 69 which we all know. Now, this is definitely another amazing song. Though definitely not as good as Positions, but it's still amazing. The production in this one sounded so amazing, Ariana's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was super amazing. Let's see how far this gets.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Ariana Grande - Positions: I'm super pleased to see this song back in the Top 5. But I'm not sure if this song is going to be at the Top 3 soon, but we're gonna have to see.

4. Harry Styles - Golden: It dropped out of the top spot. Though it did had a nice stay there for a week. But let's see if it'll be back at the top spot soon.

3. Billie Eilish - Therefore I Am: I'm fine with this song being back in the Top 3. But I'm sure this is actually not going to be at the top spot on there, but we're gonna have to see.

2. Dua Lipa/DaBaby - Levitating: Gosh, this song has really been holding that spot for a long time. But yeah, I'm sure this is not going to be at the top spot. This might be dropping sometime soon.

1. All Time Low/Demi Lovato/Blackbear - Monsters: I'm super duper pleased to see this song back at the top spot! I didn't think it was going to be back in there, but thank goodness it did! Now, I'm sure hoping it should stay in there for a few more weeks longer. Let's see how long it could hold the spot.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Fletcher/Kito - Bitter

2. The Kid Laroi - Without You (DEBUT)

3. Malia Civetz - Broke Boy

4. Foushee - Deep End

5. Glass Animals - Heat Waves (DEBUT)

6. Tones And I - Fly Away

7. Clinton Kane - Fix It To Break It

8. Frances Forever - Space Girl (DEBUT)

9. Shaylen - Goodbye

10. Dizie D'Amelio/Wiz Khalifa - One Whole Day

11. Megan Thee Stallion - Body

12. Quinn XCII/Chelsea Cutler - Stay Next To Me

13. Ava Max - My Head And My Heart (DEBUT)

14. The Kid Laroi - So Done

15. Royal & The Serpent - Overwhelmed (RE-ENTRY)

16. Joshua Bassett - Lie Lie Lie (DEBUT)

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

The Kid Laroi - Without You: He now has 2 songs on there this week. But I gotta say, this is also decent. Though not as decent as So Done, but it's still decent. There isn't really anything here that's interesting to say about it. The production here sounded great, and the lyrics were fine. But again, I'm not really huge on this guy's vocals. Though the chorus here sounded decent. So yeah, another decent song for me. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Glass Animals - Heat Waves: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. I've actually been knowing this group because I've been hearing some of their other songs on Alt Nation before this one. And now, here they are debuting on there. As far as the song goes, this is absolutely a heavenly alt-pop song. The production here is very heavenly, the vocals were absolutely heavenly, the lyrics are super phenomenal, and the chorus was super heavenly. This is going to end up in my Top 10 Songs of the year when it debuts the countdown soon. Well thank goodness it's already a new year, and we finally picked up a song that's going to be in that list soon. Here's to hoping that it should be on the countdown soon.

Frances Forever - Space Girl: This is yet to be another TikTok song, which I've actually found very interesting. As far as the song goes, this is definitely an amazing song. Now, on to my opinion. The production in this one was so amazing, her vocals were absolutely amazing, the lyrics are definitely very interesting, and I really enjoyed the chorus. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Ava Max - My Head And My Heart: What I found interesting about this song is that it actually sounds like ATC - Around The World in terms of the melodies from this song. As for this song, it is definitely another pretty heavenly song. Though not as good as Kings & Queens, but it's still pretty heavenly. The production here was pretty heavenly, Ava's vocals were pretty heavenly, the lyrics were pretty heavenly, the chorus was pretty heavenly, everything on this song was pretty heavenly. Gosh, she really has been making some pretty heavenly songs recently. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.

Royal & The Serpent - Overwhelmed: Ok, that's fine! I'll give credit to it being back on Hit Bound. Though I'm not sure if it's going to be back on the countdown, but we're gonna have to see.

Joshua Bassett - Lie Lie Lie: This is absolutely an outstanding song. And what I've noticed about why they picked up this song is that he was affiliated with a current popular female artist. That was so interesting for them to do. Now, on to the song. The production here sounded so awesome, Joshua's vocals were so outstanding, the lyrics are super interesting, and that chorus was absolutely amazing. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
